Looking for an android phone. budget around 1.5k++
I wan something much better than htc wildfire.. was actually considering aria but then found that aria is better than wildfire in very very little ways (processor and resolution).
Do you guys have any suggestion besides Aria?

ur budget 1.5k++ (++ until how much?)
if around 1.5k then u can try getting the HTC Legend, its better than both the aria and wildfire.. or u can try the motorola milestone..

but if u want a high end android fone, u would need to at least fork out rm1.8k+

at rm1.8k+ u can get an ap set of Galaxy S, and at rm1.9k+ u can get a htc desire...

in terms of the screen and graphic capability, then nothing beats the Galaxy S, but if u want something tat feels a little more solid and more all round fone, it would be the Desire.. that is if ur budget will extend to 1.8 to 1.9k..

but if not then at ur current budget, u can get the HTC Legend and Motorola Milestone. Both are reallly nice fones.

what do you think of htc hd2 running android?
*
not so sure about that, but if im not mistaken its not very stable yet.. i heard most of the functions are already there, like the market and gps are working, but i think as a whole, im not sure whether its reached the point where its stable enough to run smoothly without any major problems.. i might be wrong tho, coz i havent been very much up to date with the HD2 and android thing lately.

Surely there will be new android phones available in Malaysia. But only problem is when? and what fones?

so far havent heard of any new android fone that has a confirmed date to reach our shores...

im guessing the droid 2 should be coming over with a different name.. and the Desire HD shud be coming over as well, but not confirmed and Desire HD not even launched yet.. so still got some time till it arrives.

so yes, those 3 fones u listed are currently the 3 best android fones available in malaysia..

for the first time wanted to buy a smartphone with capabilities of 3G, WiFi and have the ability to run free GPS apps. with screen big enough to browse.

using template tongue.gif

1. Brand. HTC
2. Budget. 2k above
3. Specs. (Processor = at least 1GHz
Android 2.2 or above
screen size = at least 3.7 inches)
4. What you need in the phone (have good battery life)

have been reading good reviews of HTC EVO 4G and HTC Droid incredible.. these two wont come to Malaysia? cuz I checked at garage sale, and theres no sign of 'em.

I think SE X10 Mini and HTC Wildfire quite similar in price, slightly above 1k mark. But having tried both, I went for the Wildfire. Definitely a much better option in my opinion.

x10 mini seriously too small.. for budget get the wildfire.. or if u want sumthin better, but cheaper than desire and galaxy S, then get the htc Legend, rm999 with 2 year contract with digi..
