waiting for SG Ace review

-__-! haha angry bird.... i just downloaded to test it out and compare with milestone. well it works better compared to milestone. not too sure why but samsung androids on both galaxy 5 and ace seems to be smooth. IMO as smooth as IP4.

Was wondering I need a new phone..... What is the cheapest and DECENT android phone that I can buy right now?

1. Brand: Anything.
2. Budget: Lower the better <600... In fact 500 is already too much......
3. Specs: At least 2.1 or 2.2 and can load Custom firmware (UNLIKE Motorola Mielstone) with a decent community support.
4. What you need in the phone: Decent multi touch, UI anything but not crappy, don't want QWERTY and the always hard factor: decent battery life.

PS: I know I doubt I can find an Android this cheap without it being problematic..... But I think u guys can try...........

i'm still waiting for an android phone that can actually use a video call ... anyone knows if the desire s is gonna be available here or not ...

Basically my phone usage is just SMS, call sometimes, a lil' bit of gaming out of boredom, and also surf web/facebooking/tweeting via WiFi (no to 3G/etc.. need to pay xD)
sometimes checking/sync-ing emaill too if possible (via WiFi as well..)

I'm currently looking at both LG OP1 and Samsung Galaxy Ace, the Galaxy's design attracted me but it was rumored that it's around 256-386 of RAM only.. so which one should i go after? Or there is any other budget-tight Android phone? I'm currently using Nokia N79 with Symbian S60v3.. and I must say, I can't stand keypad+symbian phone anymore.. lol.

milestone 2 (a bit bulky, great specs), defy (good specs, syok to hold but high SAR rating) or desire (accs availability, great specs but loudspeaker not loud enuf?) ???

captivate also too tall for my liking. desire z got bad design for that keyboard mechanism.

No preference really, just want a phone that is durable, lightweight and has decent screen size. was thinking about HTC though, any bad reviews about that brand?

around 1.5k - 1.7k. i refuse to buy a phone which is more than 1.7k

preferably scoring high on specs. dont care much about looks. screen size preferably slightly bigger than iphone

4. What you need in the phone (Sense UI ? Touch Witz ? Battery life? Form factor?)
ease of use UI, email, GPS, internet capabilities, multi tasking, fast and smooth OS. need a decent camera that can take good pics at low light and dark conditions though.
