Guys, I need some help...
I'm struggling between Milestone and Milestone XT720...
RM1300 (Msia set) and RM1550 (SG set)

I really fancy the keyboard on Milestone, do you guys think it's really worth it if I were to take Milestone just for the keyboard?

Physical qwerty keyboard will just make your phone bulkier.
I prefer using touch screen only. You can choose to have the virtual keyboard input or the virtual alphanumeric style input.

Hey, I was in the same boat some months ago. I'm a big qwerty fan having owned a Palm Treo, Centro and Nokia e75. I held off on owning an Android device because of the limited selection of qwerty models. When I decided I had had enough of my e75 at the time (god damned Symbian sucks), I took the plunge and got the Samsung Galaxy S. I knew it was a risk and even as I handed over my credit card, I was still half fixated on the Milestone and its keyboard.

A month down the line, I can safely say that yes, I still do miss the tactile feel of qwerty keys - poking a screen just doesn't feel the same. BUT, it's the overall package that's won me over. Awesome huge screen, blazing performance and a truly active modding community makes using a touch-based device really fun. In the end, I was pleasantly surprised that a touch only phone managed to convert a qwerty advocate like me. I guess what I'm trying to say is not to get fixated on a single feature because the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Good luck deciding!

Plus, you can't really judge a touch experience based on a slow phone with cumbersome UI and a resistive screen (:cough: nokia 5800, n97, n97 mini :cough:). Android is a whole new world! smile.gif

u mean Galaxy or Galaxy S, coz theyre different fones, but if u meant Galaxy S then, it is better than the milestone in many ways, but lacks the keyboard..

but if u mean the Galaxy (no S), then the milestone is better..

How bout get the HTC legend, or if u wanna top up to 1.8k+ u can get HTC desire AP set or rm1.9k+- Galaxy S 8gb AP set..

but if u wanna stick to ur budget, i say that the HTC legend is a good and nice fone to use..

2 more fones u can consider- Motorola Milestone and Motorola XT720 (these 2 fones are also good and nice fones, and they both haf larger screen size)
its up to personal preference, i like the feel of the HTC legend, but i like the larger screen size of the Milestone. Therefore, as i said, its personal preference

I would go for the Legend or the Milestone.. the good thing about the milestone is that it has a physical keyboard and has a bigger screen.. but the legend has a slightly faster CPU, and has a nicer feel to the fone..

i would stay away from the acer liquid, coz i tink it lacks some updates..

if u wanna top up another rm100 from ur budget, u can get an AP set HTC desire or Galaxy S, both of which are great fones.

To anyone wishing to try an Android phone, I recommend HTC Wildfire. It's definitely the best Android phone in the budget range. I'm using one right now and have no plans to upgrade to another Android phone.

if she wants a good camera and big screen, then x10, but if she wants nice solid feel to a fone coupled with a sense UI, then get the HTC legend, if u wanna get a nice fone, and wanna save more money, then get the wildfire. not so sure abt liquid, but, that fone might have problems in the sense of updates.

X10 lack of updates is the main problem... Would prefer legend or wildfire, but she don mind the quality of the screen of wildfire then it is really good value to buy... Am using 1 now and my gf also say it is jus nice for a normal girl (non tech savy)... Might plan to buy a eta for myself if yr end bonus is ok, then pass the wildfire to her...

http://www.phonegg.com/comparison/Comparez...p1=1538&p2=1501

I prefer the design resolution and screen size of Aria. And its processor is slightly better than wildfire.(almost no different tho) But Aria doesnt have flash.

However if you don't mind having smaller screen, go for wildfire, since the price different is quite big, about rm500+? And the two spec are quite close actually.
