QUOTE(lch78 @ Jan 5 2011, 07:22 PM) Yes. SE X10 is a good phone. Fast processor, good camera but the downside is not multi-touch capable. If you can live with that, then this is the phone for you. Your alternatives will be samsung galaxy 3 and HTC Desire (a bit higher than your budget). Other types I am not too sure. PS: You can check out the respective threads of phone for more information. i see. thx

QUOTE(xDarkKnightx @ Jan 5 2011, 05:57 PM) Samsung Galaxy S is not a brand Samsung is. Go for either Desire AP(1.5k) White colour is available or Samsung Galaxy S like you mentioned. Both user friendly and confirmed to have Gingerbread. Both available in white colour. I know Samsung is the brand, aiye. Haha! Does it have push notifications for social networking or not? N if I have multiple email accounts, does this phone/OS support them so I will still get emails from all my accounts without hvg to go to the web browser to read them? Thanks!

It has push notifications from facebook, if that is what you mean. And it also has push emails function from gmail, ms exchange and all your popular email accounts like hotmail and yahoo.

QUOTE(imationyj @ Jan 5 2011, 08:43 PM) hey can anyone recommend me an android phone for budget at abt RM 1100+/-? currently aiming for wildfire isit a nice phone? Nope. It has Froyo but a low resolution and a slow processor. Go for Optimus One (RM899) or Galaxy 5(RM650). Both uses the same processor but the O1 has a better camera(3.2mp) and a higher resolution(320x480).

QUOTE(xDarkKnightx @ Jan 5 2011, 07:06 PM) Lol. If you're afraid of it being wobby go for the Milestone 2 but i do not put much hope on it getting more firmware update past Gingerbread. True that, stupuiak motorola bootloader . Probably giving the G2 a go man. Thanks!

Galaxy 5 which is weaker than the O1.. i feel its hard to get a good android phone if your budget is less than 1.5k la.. cuz lots of phone that are below 1.5k are having certain problem. SE Xperia's X8 is the only other phone left with that budget for u too.. but its..

thats what i think... actually never really thought ill get O1 (thinking of DHD as a matter of fact), but my current phone is breaking in my hand, literally and might give up anytime soon and my savings arent up to 1.5K yet. so, its more like a "transition" phone for this year or something, till dual-core android is up.

Then u rather get a temporary super cheap phone first... like a nokia that cost 300? In that way you can get a temp phone and wait for a 2core android. Save u tons of bucks as well. Get an O1, u waste 800, gotta save more to get a 2core which is not long summore
