oh ya, no wonder the tmn look so familiar.
hehehehe.. thanks for the update in pg 1...

if my wind screen crack. and i did buy the windscreen cover.
any shop out there can replace a new one for me and do all the claims?
thanks

Call up your insurance claim agent, or check insurance website. They have a link of panel workshop with contacts. Call the workshop to confirm they can settle all, how long it takes, appointment, etc., and they will settle all, provided your insured value is enough to cover the windscreen cover + labour. They will take pictures, ask you sign a few forms, wait wait wait... done.

Normally I settle in half-day. No need pay anything. Drive in, fixed, wait "glue" dry up, drive out.

I "cracked" windscreen few times already sweat.gif

M'sians always double/triple park as near as possible, even in hypermarkets early in the morning, when there are plenty of legal parking about 50-100m away.

Yeah, some say just a while only, 5 min. Some say just makan for 20-30 min.

Some say weather hot (four seasons of summer here)

Some say afraid safety / security walk so far (e.g. eyes-raped by those who stared at you)

Some say afraid beloved-car get stolen/lost/scratched/hi-jack by aliens/etc.

What else ?

Back to parking in Bdr Puteri again..there is a multi -storey car park built but ppl still park and double park around that area (in front of gym and behind) Some more some customers are gym members, so exercise in gym can, walk from car park, kenot? Walking in street clothes not canggih enuf?  brows.gif
*
Yes, not cool for them. dangerous, no air-cond, sweat, etc. tongue.gif Street clothes not as nice as their tight-fitting dri-fit branded clothes. Also afraid ppl outside rape them with their eyes by staring at their cool tight fit expensive branded clothes laugh.gif So must double/triple park directly in front of the place doh.gif

Not just in Puchong, but anywhere in Klang Valley.

Can anyone tell me where can I get my leather sofa renew in puchong area. I got mine less than 2yrs during HOMEDEC and was told is somekind of bond-leather, after a while it start to peel off and cost me 3.2k.
Called up this guy "kent" from seri kembangan kinda of expensive
2.8k half leather. better buy new one right??
*
I suggest buy new one, unless you can get good quality leather to replace it. Also need good workmanship ($$$)

I'm sure you aware, leather sofa/seats need maintenance regularly, instead of PVC/etc. Otherwise, it'll crack under our hot and humid environment.

SS2 stalls durian price: ohmy.gif shakehead.gif

Musang = RM26-28/kg
Thraka = RM22-25/kg
D24 = RM13-15/kg

I bought from Kepong Baru morning wet market (not the street), a lorry man direct from Bentong. Current weekend price:
Musang grade A = RM19/kg
Musang grade B = RM15/kg
D24 = RM9/kg
* weekday will be cheaper by ~RM2

The cheapest rate I bought over the years from this fellow: thumbup.gif
Musang = RM12-13/kg
D24 = RM5-7/kg

I tried both SS2 and Kepong, same taste, different price.

Puchong price ?

LOL, I'm not good too. Just below average, and play to sweat/exercise only. I've been playing at current place for >10 years. Some of them have been playing for 20+ years at this location, not to mention 1-2 of them have passed-on already sweat.gif

If the yellow mini bus really stop this route, the only remaining bus is U43 from 1U to Putrajaya liao.

Anyway, another complain by Puchong folks- No buses going to Bkt Jali LRT side as well!

The current buses all using the Old Puchong & OKR towards KL.
*
That's the problem. I have a friend who take a bus from SG->KL Bukit Jalil (before they switch to BTS)
Then has to take Rapid from Bkt Jalil -> Kotaraya
Then Kotaraya take Rapid/Metrobus to Puchong IOI doh.gif doh.gif

Reverse the above when want to go back to SG. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

I remember when install whole house, normal fluorescent light 1 point is RM8 or 10.
6x Ceiling fan is RM15 each (points and hooks all there)

Frankly, without the safety hook, it feels a bit risky sitting/sleeping under it.

Or you mean wall-mounted fan ? hmm.gif This is much safer for your case.

Anyone know the fastest way to go to Mont Kiara from Puchong?
*
Depending on traffic / toll preference:
(1) LDP all the way to DU, then Jln D'sara, then Sprint highway (pass by Securities Commision)
(2) LDP all the way to Mutiara Damansara, Penchala link to MK
(3) LDP puchong barat toll, enter ELITE highway, exit at Damansara, follow #1
(4) No toll, use Puchong-Sg. Besi bypass, then Sg. Besi highway, then Jln Istana/Damansara, Jln Duta, turn up to MK.

Which one is faster during morning rush hour? Doesn't mind to pay toll if can escape the traffic, not like LDP, pay toll to get stuck in the jam.
*
No where to escape laugh.gif

LDP - Sunway jam jam jam

Puchong Barat-ELITE-Damansara toll
-> Before Damansara toll = already jam, then jam all the way until Sek 17.

Puchong Barat-ELITE-Kota Damansara toll
-> Pesiaran Suria / tunnel jam

Puchong-Sg. Besi-Mahameru-Duta
-> Bkt Jalil (before TPM), Sg. Besi (old airport) jam

Old Puchong road - Assunta - Gasing - UM hospital - Sek 16
-> Too many traffic lights also. Jam where ?

Old Puchong - cut across to Tmn Sri Manja - NPE towards Bangsar - SPRINT ?

Either you leave home before 6:30am, or after 9am. I can leave Puchong at 9am and reach KL city centre within <1 hour. Heavy traffic, but no jam.

Tesco extra is a downgrade of tesco ? Tesco Extra should be an upgrade.

Previous years branding, Tesco is the big one. Tesco Extra is the smaller size ones. I remember they categorize it by sq ft. Not sure about current branding, need to check again.

The world's gone upside down.  Yesterday I stopped by at the new Tesco on Old Klang Road, and parked at P2.  Then I had to pusing pusing to find my way back to the car park, ended up in P1, walked down one level, and found myself in P1A, and the stairs stopped there!!!  Panic, try and look for another staircase or lift that would get me down to P2.  Pusing pusing.  In the end, found out P2 is above P1.  rclxub.gif

P2 is above P1 ma tongue.gif cause it is above ground.
If basement, it go down in B1, B1A, B2, B3, B4 ... B18, Hell.

Tesco Extra appeared in Malaysia, because of Makro exit.

As time goes by, Tesco Extra caters both business and consumers.
*
Correct. Makro is rebranded as Tesco Extra. Then those smaller shoplots like 7-11 size are also known as Tesco Extra.

Ipoh Tesco Extra is much smaller.

Maybe current Puchong is downgraded to smaller one, and they are going to build a much bigger at Puchong Utama? Or some regulations or to avoid confusion with two Tesco's around ? hmm.gif

I'll check later with my Tesco friends to confirm.

QUOTE(davkong @ Aug 9 2011, 11:59 AM)
Tesco Extra is the largest Tesco format, it caters to business community as well as household with more selection and facilities... check out Tesco's website.. So it should be an upgrade instead of downgrade..
*
So far doesn't sound right. Are they going to re-brand the big stores in Mutiara Damansara and HQ at Kepong Village Mall as Tesco Extra also ?
Shah Alam Tesco going to re-launch next Monday.

Tesco Extra, Express, confuse between these two.  I remember going to a branch years ago in Selayang Mall which is much smaller.  So i thought extra and/or express smaller than Tesco.
The staff i asked is a sales girl, so may be she donno what's she talking about...
*
Ah, yes. This I confuse -> Extra / Express. rclxub.gif

Alright, then. I guess Extra is a new re-branding for them.
Still no reply from Tesco insider.

I thought there is another brand called Xtra Supermarket ? not related to Tesco.
