I have a few of those mozzie traps from ACE.  Unfortunately, the fan motor breaks down very easily, and you'll have to take it to the distributor to get it replaced.  Very troublesome.  But it works.  Going to try this DIY thingy.  Got tons of yeast!  The yeast will continue to feed on the sugar and multiply and produce CO2 for some time.  The CO2 attracts the mozzies.  That is one of the ways they are attracted to humans - our breath.
