Thinking of doing a triathlon next year lah, so need bicycle. I'm a long time bicycle kaki, used to to cycle touring in Europe and the UK. But I left my bicycle behind when I came back to Malaysia sad.gif Will have a look at the bicycle shops you recommend. Thanks. Is the Bandar Puteri one your regular shop? How're the people there?

The owner is one of the Puchong basikal hash club wan.. Now i'm almost semi-retire liao haha

Yeah forgotten u did mention b4...fell down till rim broke into pieces?

That was another bicycle liao! I was coasting at top speed down Jalan 17/21, quite a steep slope. It was getting dark, and I hadn't expected to stay out so late and didn't have my lights with me, and at some point, some car wanted to turn right sad.gif *kaboom* rclxub.gif

I survived after a few days in the hospital, but I was told the bicycle gone case liao. Never got to see it again.

The one I had in the UK was a hybrid - a cross between a road bike and a mountain bike, usually used for cycle touring. I got quite attached to it and was a bit sorry to leave it behind!

Actually there are LOTS of pet shops and vets in Bandar Puteri. Puchong Jaya as well. You'd think every house had a dog given the large number of these establishments in the area. PRC pet-shops no comment; I've only been to the first type of pet shop so never noticed the second type whistling.gif

Added on January 1, 2012, 8:10 pmGoing to Cal-Lab again to replace my Cal-Lab isolator damaged by power surge few days ago. Any Puchongite wish to buy Cal-Lab isolator at 35% off can tumpang me. Any one wish to exchange their damaged Cal-Lab Isolator at the official standard fixed price of RM25 can also tumpang me.
New kaki must pay RM15 deposit to prevent FFK except those who bought from me before.
Above service is for one time only unless my Cal-Lab got fried again by lightning.
*
Arr, my telephone line isolator seems to have been fried, can take for me and check? My modem got fried twice in the past month. The AC isolator is working fine though.

Yes, Cal-Lab charge RM25 for lifetime exchange guarantee for damaged isolator by whatsoever means. Similar to your isolator, my AC isolator still working but phone isolator got fried by lightning but my router saved. My opposite neighbor's refrigerator "gone case" by the same lightning strike. The key difference between Cal-Lab and other surge protector is that Cal-Lab is an isolator, not an arrestor, it doesn't arrest the sudden surge of strong current, instead it isolate it by self-destroying. Any surge protector that does not self-destroy MAY NOT do its SURGE PROTECTION job effectively. The above is from my limited knowledge about surge protection.
*
Actually donno when my phone line isolator got fried. After that connect straight to splitter, then the modem got fried pulak! Twice some more.

There were frequent lightnings in the late afternoon in Puchong area in the second half of December. Maybe yours kena when you are not at home. All of us kena the phone line isolator only because the surge was coming from the external phone cable and we usually switched off only the AC when not in use but seldom remove the phone cable.

Bleah. Nowadays, I always power down the computer when I'm not at home. Kiasu liao. Last month was really bad - my modem got fried right in front of my eyes. It had been raining, but there sort of rain where you don't expect thunder, and it was coming to halt, so I hadn't bothered to power down. Suddenly kaboooom kraaaakkk.
