Donno how long is the distruption but star reported water resumed    I thought it would be few days if a whole dam is effected.  But for sure the water coming in now would be a bit contaminated as it already flow out from the dam to pipes.

What is the name of the half shop besides Courts Mammoth selling kongpia in Puchong Jaya? Is it open daily and weekends?

the flat discs on the top have a savoury filling:  mincemeat, onion and spring onion.  They've very nice piping hot from the oven while the pastry is still a bit crispy.  Not so nice when cold, but you can always reheat them in the oven.

The fat ones at the bottom have no filling and they are slightly sweet.  They're ok even cold.  They're very dense and firm, a bit like a bagel. 

Both types are 50 sen each.

Can anyone tell me where in Puchong or nearby I can get this thingy?  It's a solenoid coil inside that rectangular metal box at the bottom of a swing autogate that lifts the shaft up and down.  Spoil liao.  Need to replace.

OK thanks.  I'd called up the person who changed the lock thingy for me when I moved in, but she was driving back from Penang and said she'd call me only tomorrow.  I went round looking at the row of shops fronting the LDP but the shop you mentioned happened to be the one that was closed.  At least someone in the TK lighting shop tested the coil for me with a voltmeter and sure enough, there was no current.  The thing is about 10 cm in height.

Will try the electrical shop tomorrow and/or wait for the auntie to return my call.  Lazy to go pasar road leh.  Sg Besi can consider.
Could be a problem with the hinges - try spraying some WD40.  Otherwise, something wrong with the chipboard liao.

I think they might having a personal war wth MPSJ, weeks ago their HQ at SS15 also having trouble & MPSJ closed that FC for 2 weeks due to rats problem

Asiacafe probably permanently closed dy...Previously those Maynamar staff still there. Now, the whole area so quiet & the gen set no more liao.

BTW..Carrefour Puchong Utama is almost 70-80% complete..Walls, Roof, aircon system & watertanks all installed as per Yesterday. Banners asking for tenants & etc also up liao... Very fast although they wanna sell their SEA biz..hmnnn
