QUOTE(greatbattles @ Sep 7 2010, 12:34 AM) dun think they expanding the flyover as the pillars are heading away from the current flyover..that is the thing that is making me curious lo.. I think it change the flyover to direct down to the LDP. So the car won't slow down much. Rather now round almost a turn before go down to LDP. And maybe the old 1 will dismantle once complete.

QUOTE(goodiefish @ Sep 8 2010, 01:14 PM) Donno how long is the distruption but star reported water resumed I thought it would be few days if a whole dam is effected. But for sure the water coming in now would be a bit contaminated as it already flow out from the dam to pipes. Wawasan 4 apartments still have water but a bit murky "The plant was reopened at 4pm yesterday after the ammonia content dropped to a safe level." Water supply was restored in stages to Sepang, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat and Petaling Jaya, depending on the distance of the residential areas from the plant." http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=...9657&sec=nationWho kencing on the dam?

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Sep 26 2010, 11:08 PM) the flat discs on the top have a savoury filling: mincemeat, onion and spring onion. They've very nice piping hot from the oven while the pastry is still a bit crispy. Not so nice when cold, but you can always reheat them in the oven. The fat ones at the bottom have no filling and they are slightly sweet. They're ok even cold. They're very dense and firm, a bit like a bagel. Both types are 50 sen each. I think I know that kongpia. My gf bring back alot when she go back kampung. It is foochow people biscuit. Not so like the taste.

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Oct 10 2010, 01:19 PM) Can anyone tell me where in Puchong or nearby I can get this thingy? It's a solenoid coil inside that rectangular metal box at the bottom of a swing autogate that lifts the shaft up and down. Spoil liao. Need to replace. How big is this thing? The solenoid coil burn out and no more contact? The easy way is go back to the maker. There is one autogate accessory shop at the sg.besi left side after the old airport. Opposite some car sale shop. Or direct to pasar road. Alot of electronic shop there. And the one at the wawasan shop face ldp.

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Oct 10 2010, 09:47 PM) OK thanks. I'd called up the person who changed the lock thingy for me when I moved in, but she was driving back from Penang and said she'd call me only tomorrow. I went round looking at the row of shops fronting the LDP but the shop you mentioned happened to be the one that was closed. At least someone in the TK lighting shop tested the coil for me with a voltmeter and sure enough, there was no current. The thing is about 10 cm in height. Will try the electrical shop tomorrow and/or wait for the auntie to return my call. Lazy to go pasar road leh. Sg Besi can consider. Could be a problem with the hinges - try spraying some WD40. Otherwise, something wrong with the chipboard liao. The solenoid is actually a very simple thing. Just the plastic round casing and the wire. If really can't find, can just PM me. I can rewind the wire. But very much depend on the wire size avaiable. The wawasan electronic shop is close on weekend.
