NOOOOOO!! There are two games going to be made. One is Street Fighter X Tekken by Capcom, and the other is Tekken X Street Fighter by Namco. The one you saw is by Capcom, and it will be basically Street Fighter 4 with tag team and Tekken Characters. Forget juggles, this will be a Street Fighter style game. Also, forget the commands you know for Tekken, it will be Street Fighter style. Plenty of Street Fighter characters don't have projectiles or fireballs, and they do fine in SF. Capcom will also of course do their best to balance out the gameplay, making sure that no one becomes too dominant in the game (thought this can never be guaranteed). For the juggling, I say wait for the Namco version. |

The story goes like this
both Street Fighter organizer (Shadowlaw) and Tekken tournament(Mishima corp) now already jatuh saham and out of money. So, in order to prevent bankruptcy, both of the organizers joint venture for next year tournament haha. |

QUOTE(kyo467 @ Jul 26 2010, 01:58 PM) Yup, of the two games, I definitely will prefer the SF style game. At the same time, damn curious to see what Ryu will be like in a Tekken game. Think about it, this will be the most realistic looking Ryu, with the most variation of moves in a game ever! Anyway, I am so happy they decided to pursue cool ideas like this. If support is good, I'm sure they will consider new collaborations in the future. Let me try: Akuma and Heihachi are old rivals. Akuma, disappointed in Ryu's progress so far, hears of Jin Kazama's devil transformation and seeks to challenge him. Heihachi, seeking a new way to regain his Zaibatsu, hears of Ryu and plans to use him as a means to win the tournament and regain the family dynasty. M Bison, on the other hand.... has plans of his own, with his eyes on Kazuya. Amacam, ok tak? This post has been edited by warlockimran: Jul 27 2010, 07:27 PM |

SF X Tekken is in good hands. Think of it as just Mega Alpha Street Fighter IV Zeta Tekken, Champion Edition

Very very interesting indeed. I like the artsy look of the tekken characters. Actually it doesn't matter if tekken characters adopt SF style of play. In fact just consider them as new characters la. Whats so difficult? The same can be said for Tekken players.
Why bother with the technicalities now? Just follow the flow and wait for it to come out. This game is seriously waiting to happen. The ones we could never think about is having SNK, Capcom & Namco duking it out in a game. hahaha. Till then we only have weird crossover EMU to make that happen. |
