i don't think it will be that fast. there is no astro channel at all. all uploaded by them i think??? that's not too technical.
they make use of some websites from china. i wish msia like china one day. all can watch for free even the new drama series. I used to watch using only my laptop connected to my tv, big enough. but the streaming is headache... have to stream from china server.

for newest movies of course you have to pay if you want to watch them when it is just released. otherwise you can watch them after around 4 to 6 months. They will release for free... that's very good in china. and it's legal to do it that way.

Here the so call astro, the movies are very old. you want to watch new movies, subscribe... on top of what you pay now.

China is free unless you want to watch newest movies...

ETV has been around for years. Remember DeTV? Yeah, rebranded to ETV. It's Berjaya and RedTone's baby.

I subscribed to it for a few months in the past. Mostly China channels plus some international channels - CNA, NHK World (not to be mistaken with NHK World Premium which assteruk is carrying) and Arirang. Signed up because my mom had just come back from being stationed in China for 3 years and I want to help her adjust back to Malaysian TV. Cancelled when she finally got used to Malaysia TV again.

There is even an option for lifetime subscription $400... now I know that's totally crap!

Watch online the best... but because my mom not sure how to use computer that's why I bought openbox.
