hi there
I live in a condo with satellite socket available, astro is available. Does it mean I just need to get a satellite receiver box to receive free channels? Can openbox/dreambox help? Anyone in Klang Valley interested to sell me one pls PM me. Thanks a lot!

I am using Ass-throw Beyond and planning to switch to this dreambox/skybox STB..Anyhow, I got few questions here:
1. Both dreambox and skybox can only receive SD channels from Astro. My apartment has its own satellite pointing to Measat (Astro). Can I connect the dreambox straight to the apartment satellite port?
2. With Ass-throw is available then, Can I use the beyond dish to point to other satellite? ie Thaicom 5 .. I guess I may need to have a satellite connection splitter huh? or should I have another STB? Do I need to have any special device to check where to point the dish?
3. In term of picture quality (SD/HD) which one should I really consider? Dreambox or Skybox - sorry if 'Skybox' term offend the thread
Please PM me best offer for Skybox/Dreambox or just email to barracuda_8119@yahoo.com
Thanks sifoo's

2. you need to point the dish towards Thaicom5. seeing that you live in an apartment, u don't need a splitter but what u do need is to install a separate dish
3. my personal opinion, dreambox is snappier although the start-up time is a bit longer. skybox is more user-friendly
