WHO WE ARE
1. This guild was formed way back in Classic WOW, Oct 2005 to be specific, on Maelstrom (US RPPVP) under the name Litany of Fury.
2. In Jan 2009, we transferred to Nagrand to raid on an Oceanic Server. Guild name changed to Omnis Arcanum due to unavailability of the Litany of Fury name.
3. In July 2010, we transferred to Thaurissan and faction changed to horde. FOR THE HORDE!
4. Low profile, no drama. We come in, do our stuff and get off. The environment within the guild is healthy and matured as we practice a strict no-drama-policy.
5. Stable leadership and raid team that has been around since the start of TBC (>2 years).
6. The two co-GMs have been around / remained the same since day 1 of the guild's formation back in Oct 2005 (Classic WOW).
7. Majority of the guild are working adults with successful careers/family outside WOW.


WE'RE LOOKING FOR RAIDERS WITH THE FOLLOWING TRAITS
1. Attitude - Maturity, Respect, Loyalty and Tolerance are important traits we look, in short attitude > gear. Dont be a drama queen.
2. Team player - Own up to mistakes and move on. Positive and constructive criticism. Do not have purple fever.
3. Know your class and spec - Don't be an epic noob.
4. Able to raid 4 out of 4 days - Yes RL emergency or something can pop up, we understand.
5. High situational awareness - Don't stand in the fire.
6. Raid preparation - Read up strats, watch videos, flasked, wellfeds, etc.
7. Gear optimization – Be the best you can be and be proud of what you're wearing, so have the best enchants, gems, etc.

RAID SCHEDULE
Tues = Maintenance Day
Wed/Thu/Fri/Mon = Official raid days, can be 25 or 10 depending on progression roadmap.
Sat/Sun = Rest days, GDKP runs, alt runs, etc.
Raid times are 11PM - 3AM server. When Australian Daylight Savings Time is in effect, raid times are 12AM - 4AM server. Server time is GMT+10 (AEST).

Looting in raids is done via Loot Council.

The reason is...

1. Role-Playing (RP) Story

INTRODUCTION
The Blood Ravens are a fleet-based Chapter of Space Marines and have no official homeworld, living on board several Battle Barges and Strike Cruisers instead. Their Fortress Monastery is the Battle Barge Omnis Arcanum.

The Blood Ravens Librarium Sanctorum is inside the Omnis Arcanum. This is where the Chapter keeps its records of heroic deeds, lore of vanquished enemies and captured heretical knowledge. It is said that the Librarium upon the Battle Barge is one of the largest repositories of information in the Imperium.

In latin Omnis Arcanum means 'all secret'.

The Litany of Fury serves as the Battle Barge of the Chapter’s 3rd Company, headed by the Force Commander Captain Gabriel Angelos.


FOUNDING & HISTORY OF THE BLOOD RAVENS
The Blood Ravens do not know of their founding because all records were lost early on in their history. They call their unknown founder the 'Unknown Primarch'. There are two possible historical lines of the Chapter: -

A. Possible Connection to the Chaos Thousand Sons Legion
B. Possible Connection to the two Lost Primarchs

INTRODUCTION TO DAWN OF WAR 2
In Dawn of War 2, the Blood Ravens received a distress call from Governor Derosa, leader of Planet Meridian to help combat Orks. Later, they encountered the Chaos Space Marines of the Black Legion who are attempting to take over Angel Forge. The battle to exterminate the Chaos Space Marines was fought in Meridian and subsequently in Aurelia.


THE BATTLE OF PLANET AURELIA
Once a verdant world, home to billions of humans and the jewel of the sector. Thousands of years ago the planet was engulfed in a Warp Storm (a stellar disturbance where the Chaotic dimension known as the Warp meets real space), causing the fertile world to become a frigid wasteland. After this, the planet disappeared into the Warp entirely. After a millennia, another Warp Storm appeared and Aurelia re-emerged with the forces of Chaos. This planet is the playground of the Dark Gods: Khorne, Tzeentch, Slaanesh and Nurgle.

The Daemon Ulkair was imprisoned within Planet Aurelia and is now set freed by the forces of Chaos.

Gabriel Angelos arrives with his Battle-Barge, Litany of Fury, and launches a grand assault upon Aurelia. As Gabriel valiantly led the grand assault to victory, the company was subjected to prolonged exposure to the Warp and the taint of Chaos. In a long, difficult, and bloody battle that cost many Space Marines their lives, the Daemon is finally vanquished and imprisoned again.

On board the Litany of Fury, Gabriel declares victory. Little did he know this victory would ultimately claim the purity and sanity of his Company’s finest.


CORRUPTION
Due to the prolonged exposure to the Warp and taint of Chaos, many of the Company were heavily corrupted. The Apothecaries worked tirelessly to reverse the corruption. However, redemption was beyond these brave Space Marines and corruption was continuously seeping through the Company.

For this, the Corrupted were declared as beyond redemption and marked for execution. The execution was to take place in Aurelia itself, just before the Warp Storm fully subsides. Just as the Corrupted were about to be executed, a group of loyalist Blood Ravens, freshly tainted by corruption, consorted with the Corrupted to free them.

In the chaotic scenes that ensued, the Corrupted quickly orchestrated an extraction to the Litany of Fury. As most of the Company was on the planet to witness the execution, the Corrupted successful fought, with minimal resistance, for control of the Battle Barge.

Realization set in that wherever they go, the Blood Ravens will forever hunt them down for extermination. There will be no Sector or Planet safe to hide. The only way is to escape into the rapidly closing Warp Storm. Entering a Warp Storm is suicidal as one might not survive it. Even if one does, one will be faced with the unknown as there are multiple dimensions to reality. One can appear in the same or different Sector or go back or forward in time.


A NEW BEGINNING
In the face of adversity, Saingau, the leader of the Corrupted, issues an order for the Litany of Fury to fly into the Warp Storm and the unknown…

thau is not a good place to start because it's a pvp server, and they care more about GEE-ES, archievements, rezzed loots more than status... you can virtually get you pally gemed with full +spirit gemz and still get a run...

even so if you're in a RP server, doing world pvp while holding a self claimed 'the ultimate lost holy shovel imbued with the power of the holy light' is... erm... being pst by people to 'stop dreaming and get real wipinz coz a shovel is a shovel' in a RP manner

just dun ask how i found the fact out...
