Actually just now i am confuse about your statement, that is why i did not comment on it. I guess top up cash into the prepaid is not the issue, but the internet subscribed would only be available for a month, then you have to re-subscribe the internet again.

Also, is there auto renewal for this kind of subscription?

If we need re-subcribe again, its like we start afresh right? It is like buying a new starter pack and top up RM68. The only thing is we don't need to buy a new starter pack.

That also mean the the U68 plan doesn't exactly link with your sim card, right? What happen if I just top up RM10? Since it not enough for U68 plan, can I just top up RM10 activate the U10 plan (with the same sim card).

Am I right to say when you already have a sim card, you can choose what plan you want. You want U68? just top up RM68 and activate. You want U20 just topup RM20 and activate. So anytime you change your plan. (I guess something wrong here)

Mitodna, followed your tips on *118# I can confimed my one is UB68 Broadband.

Tried a couple of thing on *118#, found out:
1. My balance is RM98 valid till August 2011. Now, where is RM98 came from? Less than a month ago I top up RM70 and today is RM70.
2. Also tried to activate the uB68 it say my current subsription sill haven't expired. So can confirm, "YOU CANNOT ACTIVATE UNTIL THE PLAN EXPIRE FIRST". I will simply wait for expiry day.

Since you can only reactivate AFTER expiry that raised 1 question:
Is there is a time limit after expiry which simply cannot reactivate anymore? How about I activate it 3 months after expiry date? How about 15 days after expiry date? Can I do that?

karheng, your "2 sim card with different expiry date" sound like a great idea. But it depend on the answer my to last question above.
(if you can delay the re-activate then it's a very great idea for heavy user. If not, then doesn't matter if the two card has different expiry date or not, it cost you the same, double)

Well, not enough money, they won't renew for you simple.

I am not sure about the auto renew, but if any plan is not yet activated, it is normal to assume that subscribing to other plan won't be an issue.

However, it is wise to make sure that the plan has been cancel to avoid confusion.

It is not reasonable to assume that the UM 20 would just activate just because you top up RM20. You have to manually subscribe it.

Sometimes, sim card would have problem about this. Just try to check out with the SC to settle this issue. Last time i also such an issue about the sim card that it cannot subscribe to other plan due to the problem in the sim card as it is still assuming that i am subscribing other plan.

Quantum_thinkingYou said "if any plan is not yet activated, it is normal to assume that subscribing to other plan won't be an issue".

Your use of "activate" and "subscribe" is confusing to me. Since there is no plan activated that mean we don't subscribe to any plan, so what you mean by subscribing to "other" plan?

Activate means you make a call to another number and its activated, BUT for UM sim, it activated once its Registered, meaning u dun hav to make any call to activate the sim

Subscribe in UM means you can subscribe to any plan offered under the *118# menu

IF you subscribe to plan UB68 for 5GB worth of data, once tat quota hav been utilise, you would hav to wait till cycle ends, (30 days) then you only can re subscribe again, or else the system will reject your application. And for UB40, its pay as you use after the 2GB quota ( becareful not to topup more than you nid or else your credit under the UB40 plan will gone like "water" Another way is to buy another UM sim and to buy another UB68 if you plan to continue using under the "30 days remaining period"

UM will introduce 2 more plans if i am not mistaken, a 10GB and 20GB plan as its 42Mbps will sucks your quota in no time biggrin.gif

1 . where is the RM98 come from?
Every RM30 get RM4.50 bonus. Or every RM10 above get 15% bonus. New sim preloaded RM5. First time you top-up RM70, mean you get RM10.50 bonus.
Yesterday top-up another RM70, get another RM10.50 bonus.

RM5+RM70+RM10.50-RM68=RM17.50
Balance RM17.50+RM70+RM10.50=RM98

2. Let say your subscription will only end 10/5/2001, do not need to do another top-up on it. As i said, go to get another new sim, top-up and subscribe another 30 days RM68 broadband. Your first sim will end Aug, right? So maybe next month you already used up SIM 2 quota. Then change back to SIM1 and subscribe to U68 for 30 days again.

I'm actually happy with anything exceeding 1Mbps. Not being complacent but years of substandard speeds has sort of narrowed my expectations. Ha!

don't worry, U don't send any bill to prepaid user...
as i know when you got new sim and top up RM30, you will got bonus RM4.50 and 30MB data and 30mins on net talk time.
If you receive this this sms, your account will deduct from this 30MB first...( 2 youtube video will finish it...)
Then it will starting deduct from your credit.
Not sure why you still can get RM28 with only RM4.50 balance. Maybe i should try next month without top-up first.
