Just give it some time.
When uMobile announced plans for 42mbps DC HSPA+ plans end of last year, this modem wasn't available yet. It was only launched commercially beginning last month. |

QUOTE(Quantum_thinking @ Apr 17 2011, 11:06 PM) Celcom full of hidden costs.Xpax claim to have 28sen 10 minutes pricing but take note of their call block. They are the only celco which caps speed based on all the package you subscribe and their plans are horribly messy. So many messy plans Xpax, Celcom Blue, UoX, SOX... Maybe their own management don't even keep track of all their promotions or planning. |

i've successfully using u-mobile with RM10 - 100MB plan...
so far so happy with it, no lagging at all... only this problem always occured, umobile3g network sometime will dissapear & replace with mycelcom. my network settings :- network mode : dual mode operator selection : automatic i've check with customer support & they said if that area no umobile3g coverage it'll replace with mycelcom. but i'm at KL, how come no coverage? |

QUOTE(Quantum_thinking @ Apr 17 2011, 11:21 PM) My cousin coming back from Aussie use celcom and he is very disappointed with it. He say the call rate are too expensive. My cousin's family too from Aussieland. At first they wanted to buy the MiFi device for RM250 after they got attracted to the 1GB RM15 volume purchase they saw in the newspapers. It was outright misleading as that was just for additional volume top-up. You need to subscribe to a monthly plan first before doing so and the additional volume add on follows the same speed as your broadband plan. That was so misleading in the papers it was advertised at get 1GB of data for just RM15. The way they put their misleading advertisements, it was meant to catch careless consumers. |

QUOTE(iipohbee @ Apr 17 2011, 11:18 PM) Celcom full of hidden costs. On top of that, their XpaX STILL use the super expensive adjacent and non adjacent call scheme of up to RM 1.80 a minute. i just got my U prepaid to testing at my house and office. Activated yesterday.
Reload RM15 ( with RM5 preloaded ), now is RM20. Then go for RM20 broadband,300MB/month. Speed at USJ 21, 1.5Mbps Speed at Desa Sri Puteri ( Desa Petaling ), 11th floor also same average 1.5Mbps only thing is upload speed slow. http://www.speedtest.net/result/1257309476.png thinking to MNP my hotlink to U. Then go for RM28 package, with 500MB/100min/50 sms for my HTC smartphone.... low usage only just good for FB, little web browsing...at least NO EXTRA CHARGE after exceed 500MB, but still can get lower speed.... |

do you mean when handover to Celcom ? Then it falls into EDGE, which is about 256k - 512kbps if not mistaken.
