Technical [WTA] Update firmware through CD

i followed every steps at xbox website, but why i still could not update my xbox? i got the latest version from website, then i copy file into CD ... put into console and off it. but when i turned on, nth happened.. and advice??

Just copy to thumbdrive...remember to format your thumbdrive to FAT32 first. NTFS does not work.

Just go online download and run. Don't worry latest update does not ban your hard disk anymore..only LIVE connection.

the problem was even though my pendrive in FAT32 , it still not recognized my pendrive in XBOX

why dont just connect to xbl? it will autoupdate.

Did you put the entire folder in the usb or just the update file?

i did it just now using pendrive..all ok...
folder structure must be \\$SystemUpdate\update files...
cannot be like $SystemUpdate\$SysteUpdate\update file etc...

Go LIVE update, get banned. Don't go LIVE update, but use LIVE, still get banned. Why bother worrying you might get banned from LIVE when you don't expect to go LIVE? sweat.gif

Aduh u all ni, If you suddenly go online and get connect to Live connection, U will not get instantly ban..la.. Kenapa takut sangat..maaa... Dun worry just go live update, fast and easy.. Trust me, You wouldn't get banned !!

I can update using a cd. Just put in the cd. shutdown and turn on again and it will ask to that u need to update. Den just select update and it will do the rest~

how to update using usb properly ??? i tried many times but it didn't worked
