Only 2 types.. NTSC/J or NTSC UC can play on players with NTSC..
PAL vertion must buy Pal Games... Modded Pal can play 90% games.. While NTSC/UC/J is close to 100% can play all Games, especially the older Fat Vertion NTSC PS2... |

usually if the lens is almost dead... new game disc cannot read anymore... but can still run on old disc which u played on it before...
u can send to a game shop for repairs... usually they will check whats the problem... and let u know is it repairable at a decend price... usually the common problems is the lens.. if its not.. then its the IC or the main circuit board which would be costly to repair and you will be advise to buy another console instead of repairing it... |
