dunno where u get that rumour from? I been sending MMS so often

wats different between n900 cannot send MMS and use 3rd party to send MMS.

Going to buy the N900 either this week or next week . Guys when you guys buy the phone from Nokia Store did they provide Screen Protector  service ?

Buying late isnt a good thing. Later they announce N8 u will have a dilemma whether to get n900 already. Then later u buy late for n8 u will have dilemma if another better model announce.

Then u made the right choice getting n900. When i reply to lyn alot ppl thought i always at home but with n900 i can online just anywhere and it makes me feel like on a computer browser. Sometimes traffic jam i will online or waiting for client or when i am at the middle of no where

Connect to wifi that need static IP? Do you mean you want assign IP address to your wifi connection? Try this:

setting-> Internet Connection -> Connections -> edit -> next -> next -> Advanced -> IP Address

Just got a call from my local repair guys: same answer, my N900 is unrepairable. What the...

Now this is getting curiously strange. I can understand Nokia Care not wanting to repair my AP phone and giving me an excuse, but a third party repair shop?

Seriously strange. Just how freakin broken IS my N900?

Repaired the loose slider, that's about it. Dug my own grave, just lol.

And even if warranty did not cover, I DID ask Nokia Care to repair at ANY cost (was prepared to pay anything) - and still they said it was unrepairable. Same case with my local repair guys.

But even it it died in the same complicated way WITHOUT me doing anything, I'm thinking Comsat (the warranty provider) will just drop some water on the water labels and say "water damage, cannot repair".

They're known to have done that before if something's too hard/costly to repair.

the different is the risk of warranty if u can see into the future ap is worthy if u cant if it breaks down u have to come out big cost like our tai kor tat brick his phone.
