QUOTE(jananan @ Jul 23 2010, 06:39 PM) the file is in the folder below, sudo gainroot first Thanks./home/user/.config/tracker/tracker.cfg open it up in vi or leafpad or any text editor you prefer. you will see a lot of entries that you can set to TRUE or FALSE. its all in plain english. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Added on July 23, 2010, 5:43 pmof course you will need a reboot after saving the tracker.cfg file. Added on July 23, 2010, 5:44 pmyou can do "killall tracker-process" but killall is not a healthy command... like end task of windows... only use it when programs crash for example, cos it will just kill the process / program and not saving the settings / state. will try it now. |

Regarding the AngryBird, previously i have got a HHmmm.. version, which allowed me to play level 1, 2 and 3, total about 60 over puzzles. But i do not have "Mighty Hoax" or "Poached eggs", and i googled the "Mighty Hoax" and "Poached eggs" puzzles screenshot, it is different with what i have. How many puzzle in total in this "Mighty Hoax" and "Poached eggs"? Thinking to buy from OVI, this is really a very addicting game.

so with the "Mighty Hoax" and "Poached eggs", how many puzzles in total? How about the level 1, 2 and 3 of the previous version?

okay, seems the numbers of puzzle still the same. 21 puzzles each, but the new version looks more interesting. Thanks for the info.

sorry if i made you guys feel bad. I have that feeling too because i love my N900 as much as you all.
Put your hand on this device and you will understand what i am trying to say. Yes, the spec for this samsung is higher, 1 ghz cpu, 512mb RAM, that is why it is fast. I overclocked my N900 to 950Mhz already.... |

QUOTE(chicaman @ Aug 4 2010, 07:40 PM) You can do dual boot. Install the Nitdroid into your micro sd card. You need to repartition your micro SD card to 2 gig of ext file system, and the rest to Fat. For me, i have a 16gig sd card so i did 2 gig for android and 14 gig for fat file system. The most important part of the phone -- GSM not working, so sad. You can revert back by flashing it with the Maemo PR1.2. I have tried that, it works. |

QUOTE(haushinka @ Aug 6 2010, 12:45 PM) guys....errrrr...another noob question from me...is there any ways to flash this n900 without losing all those apps and the setting inside? is backup can help with this? backup can help in this case, but not 100%. You may find some of the applications go missing and you need to install back by your own. After you have restored from backup, you need internet connection so that the N900 can download the applications that you have previously. The setting of applications stay.Added on August 6, 2010, 4:31 pm QUOTE(Jerry20 @ Aug 6 2010, 04:01 PM) Mine kingston 16gig class 2, bought RM150. QUOTE(dasonyeoh @ Aug 9 2010, 02:15 AM) Anyone successful dual boot android? You need to repartition your micro SD card, can do it with your N900. If you have a 8gig, make it 2gig - 6gig. 2 gig partition format to ext3 for android used, linux partition, and the 6 gig format it to FAT, so that you can store your files here. I have tried manual and autoinstaller for many times. But dont know y i cant seem to repartition the 8gb memory card. Any advice?? or some 1 here can help me to get this android working on my phone....many many thousand thanks Follow the guide here: http://wiki.nitdroid.com/index.php?title=N900-install Added on August 9, 2010, 2:24 pmTried nitdroid with flash 10.1, youtube video HD 0.005 fps, slow like snail. QUOTE(porselinaheart @ Aug 9 2010, 05:34 PM) My nitroid is using max speed 1000mhz Thanks. i will try now.As for the fullscreen issue do this: A) Firstst of all, you need to be on maemo 5 and have a text editor such as leafpad (my preferred, more user friendly than vi) installed. run a xTerm session 1] type: sudo gainroot mount -t ext3 -o noatime,rw /dev/mmcblk1p2 /and 2] open the file build.prop in a text editor. if you have leafpad installed type: leafpad /and/system/build.prop 3] in the file search for the line "f.lcd_density=160" and replace it by "f.lcd_density=240" 4]after that save it by clicking the upper contextual menu exit leafpad exit xTerm reboot your device and voilaaaa ! B)If you want to to allow nitroid to OC : 1] first download this file http://downloads.nitdroid.com/power.conf 2] next u need to mount the nitdroid partition in maemo 3] Open Xterm 4] type: sudo gainroot mount /dev/mmcblk1p2 /and cd /and/system/etc 5] transfer the power.conf file that you downloaded into this folder 6] now u need to edit /and/init.nokia.rc and remove the cpu scaling lines : ( remove the entire #power management section ) 7] if your using leafpad, type : cd /and leafpad init.nokia.rc 8] remove the section of text below: # Power Management write /sys/power/sleep_while_idle 1 write /sys/power/enable_off_mode 1 write /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_governor ondemand write /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_min_freq 250000 write /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/up_threshold 86 write /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/sampling_rate 46875 write /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_min_freq 250000 write /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_max_freq 600000 write /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_governor ondemand 9] save the file and next time u boot nitroid it will be OC'd Added on August 9, 2010, 4:44 pmFor those interested in dual booting nitroid, refer http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=58890 it has the most up to date installation method. however u need to check post number 2 for the latest nitroid build, 0.0.6 Added on August 9, 2010, 4:49 pm bro take a look at the link in my post above. if u get stuck drop me a line, its not as hard as it looks. on another topic, anybody using the 'Shorctcutd' app? It allows you to set proximity sensor and camera button to for opening, phone, desktop commands, and even enable 'crtl+shift+r' for enabling autorotation, Added on August 9, 2010, 4:51 pm QUOTE(Gouki @ Aug 9 2010, 05:24 PM) tweakflashversionThis post has been edited by lee0125: Aug 9 2010, 04:51 PM |
