Most of the website out there with spyware or whatever shit crap warez are targetting windows OS, being a linux and mobile user, we have very little to worry about. Besides even a PC infected with your so called virus cannot affect N900.

1 thing i like is that, i can focus for video and also once i focus already, the focus stays there and will not go back to normal unfocused state.

In fact, some camera phone will lock the exposure as well
But Nokia should add in metering mode to the camera software like sony ericsson

I tried the mod transition.ini
Now it is so smooth, the background is not blurred like the original one in menu. Anyone knows any better transition?
edit: ok i got it fixed, i edited the transition.ini myself

Not all flash content is flash10 based, just fake the version and you are good to go
Check maemo talk for the apps to fake the flash version

QUOTE(ShrugsLova @ Aug 7 2010, 11:28 PM) dj who? somehow i rather sacrified Flash 10 than GSM. A phone is to call. and to call is a phone. (lame) i am sorry to say, N900 is a tablet to begin with, and it has phone features, look at the past tablet series and u will know We are holding Tablet that comes with phone not phone that comes with pda features. Besides, of course we get it because of its ability to make phone call.

N900 natively comes with Maemo. Android is not suppose to be in N900. We'd be grateful someone actually spend his time to make Android possible in N900 so we could play around.
Besides, its not 100% compatible, just able to get a taste of Android, thats what I can say, I also wish could get GPS to work in Android, of course because of other GPS software which is better than those in Maemo.

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Aug 8 2010, 01:01 AM) Shame Garmin is not developing software actively anymore (for Android for instance - Symbian version is also un-updated for how long edi?)... I actually prefer the pure data and efficient routing of Garmin vs the polish of Papago. Same, I like garmin and been using for years. Garmin stopped supporting symbian anymore if not mistaken and this is due to piracy which all of us are aware of. Papago is another good alternative as MFM supports its, but not sure the on going issue are solved (license problem about mapping)

u don need 16gb to dual boot android, u need lesser than 2gb partition to install android.
thats why all the high capacity card has to be partitioned to less than 2gb for android and the rest left to be fat32

QUOTE(arcalius_7 @ Aug 10 2010, 05:21 PM) ahhh..just realised the sound not powerful as xpressmusic..any chance to improve? i dun see any eq or sound enhancements in n900 *sigh*.. All u need is a better IEM / Earphone. Using good IEM, u dont even have to set the EQ at all. When u need to use the EQ, the main problem is because the IEM doesn't suits ur need. Besides N900 SQ is overall good and better compared to Nokia 5800xm and N97 is the worst among them lol.
