Andy say no good GPS apps, how come your GPS working fine?
How you do that? Just plug in headset and you're ready to go with FM? No internet connection? No 3rd party software?

i think in 2-3 months time it will overtake Maemo5, without the Telephony/GPRS/3G support of course since those nokia components are closed source.

sigh..my n900 cant connect to wifi/3g connection although the connections is there. but can be used as a modem. done restarting and reflashing also the same. help me. or should i send to warranty?

yeah, i think its hardware faulty. but why i can use it as a 3g modem? about firmware, i think the one from maemo website is the proper one.

anyone facing problem with slide locking
sometimes i have to slide the switch two or three times...

I think the price will still drop if Nokia releases their Meego.
When Nokia really abandon maemo and go full strength for Meego, what will you forumers do?

1) Abandon maemo too and go for Meego/Winmo7/Androids?

OR

2) Stick with maemo with outdated software/firmware?

OR

3) Flash and install available compatible platform?
Despite knowing, Nokia will abandon maemo, I still purchase a N900 this week.
Is it a suicidal purchase?

So aspire, you're using Sygric 9 now? Working like charm? On par with Garmin XT? Or just another crappy software?

Yea everything is reinstalled but I cant seem to share any picture to facebook via the sharing! I get transfer error!

Anyhows, typing with my Nanai-Tan keyboard confirms one very important thing: the N900 would have benefited hugely from a four row hardware kb - AND the great error-correction present in the E71's text prediction system. It's simply sublime, really, even after all these years.

And yes I miss my N900 and microB, extremely - I'm only at day one of two weeks and I already have moments where I go "microBBBBBBBBBB is whereeeeeee?" lol.

this normal for big company, they might take 2 hour to fix the phone.....but still hold it for long period....make the user feel like is a hard job, and user feel worth what they paid even charge gila-gila

i left my phone for more than a few days, worst is got 1 time almost 10days and i emailed nokia, then they give pressure to the service center and that center asked someone to call me up and tell me this

"Sir, we will get the stock from other service center and get it done for u no matter what within this week, we promise u"

got once they change motherboard and all my pictures gone, they din inform me and refuse to restore for me, then i email nokia again and they give pressure to them, this time they tell me this

"Sir, we receive an order from nokia and they ask us to restore the pictures for u, can u come over so we can restore the picture for u?"

1U provide very fast service, everytime send there takes 2 hours to complete!

The with slowest service for twice one is at jalan pahang barat~

So it makes no much difference than an iPhone on its video calls...

and weird why do world users not complaining this issue and pressure them to develop firmwares to support video calls...
