I'm having problems with my contractor too. I've paid about 85% of the agreed amount. Currently, I'm not satisfied with:

1. the quality of the front grill, the painting was so amateurish
2. the kitchen cabinets, with scratch marks and worn out edges


Am I legally allowed to not pay him for such poor workmanship? Anyone having similar experience? Thank you.
