I could always reactivate my high quality ventrilo server - I used it for WoW but at that time, PvP rewards wasn't up yet. Crystal clear audio, I'll foot the monthly bill, however, if you guys (In the guild) want to chip in, it's like around RM2 per person a month.
Either way, I'll get it running again soon. |

You have a guild Eowyn ? We're comprised mostly of Malaysians and Singaporeans currently. http://celestialorder.net
We need more fresh meat for toilet duty. Oh, when you go to the mesmer barracks - don't drop the soap This post has been edited by Xeoalpha: May 19 2005, 10:34 AM |

Eowyn, don't rush the game - enjoy it as the story progresses. Once you leave your starter area, then the guild can get you reequipped with new armour and items.
We don't need you to be a guru to join us. We just want friendly and mature people to join us for a few laughs*. *With the exception of Zaakath, he is a special case. We get tax relief for bringing in retards to work for us - we get a bigger tax cut here, because Zaak is a retard's retard. |

QUOTE(Eowyn @ May 19 2005, 02:23 PM) thanks.. figure that having monk as primary profession will be more valuable in terms of future contribution ie healing to my team members (later on).. no doubt that one of the disadvantage of being a monk is also having being the 1st one to be targetted!! it's like, "oh there's the monk. kill!! die!!".. With the right combo and strategy - you won't die as easily. Monk in GW are tough and hardy when used and played right. Sherly can tell you, we've been kicking ass all week now in the Hall of Heroes.Regarding the warrior/monk question - Nothing special, very common too as its the easiest class to play. Im a warrior/monk , can't get enough of Paladinhood after all these years. |

Don't insult the women - Like Sherly, she's a real pro monk now. Been fighting with us in the Hall of Heroes for more than a week now. She' has come a long way. We've got a few women in the guild too, so far so good I believe.

QUOTE(huix @ May 26 2005, 12:11 PM) 1 elementalist/monk - main healer, spec high in heal and elementalist energystorage for high powerpool. Chances are it may not work because:2 protection monk - second healer and protection spec monk for defending assist train 3 elementalist/mesmer - fire mage, aoe and dps 4 elementalist/necro - air mage, DD DD and debuff 5 mesmer/elementalist - high fastcast and air magic, for further DD but main task is doing mesmer task first 6. Pure mesmer - Pure interupter 7. Warrior/monk - well, paladin for interupt and another heal 8. elementalist/monk - fire mage aoe and dps and backup healer 1. One monk to heal a bunch of cloth wearers. A monk healing a bunch of full plates would have a much easier time. 2. Only one monk ?! Your monk will have a problem, should I heal the dying cloth wearers ? or Heal myself ? Either way, one will die. 3. Hammer Warriors, Distruption Rangers and Ward of Elements, Healing Seed. I guess the last man to die in your party will be the warrior |

Maybe Fire isnt the best for a ranger/elem , unless the only skill you want to use are knockdown fire skills.
