Ele/Mo is a good choice for support healer. You will have more energy comparing with a Monk. But you won't have the divine favor bonus though.

Having met 1 or 2 girls who will rush into a huge group of mobs doesn't mean that all the girls are unable to handle the challenge of a game like Guild Wars. You were just unlucky
QUOTE(nub @ May 20 2005, 12:49 AM) there're these 2 girls, and i guess they prefer simple straight forward grinding and being able to look pretty over something "difficult" like guild wars... is it really difficult, to at least think ahead a bit before rushing into a huge mob of charrs? This post has been edited by sherly: May 20 2005, 10:37 AMi guess i understand why people always say girls only play the sims... |

Btw, stop having the mindset of thinking that females are weaker than males in terms of gaming. Girls who play games are very common now and I have met those who are really good.

Wow, that's weird they prefer Rose over Guild Wars if they are going for looks. Guild Wars have more attractive female characters comparing with those dumb 12 years old looks in Rose (No offense to those Rose lovers). It's true that Rose is appealing due to its simplicity, just whack and slash, n mindless grinding. It bored the hell out of me after playing it for 2 weeks though.

Hey Eowyn, Protection Monks put more points in Protection Prayers, Divine Favor and lesser points in healing prayers. They usually carry protection prayers spells like reversal of fortune, protective spirit, aegis, guardian and etc. Its role is to reduce dmg received by party members. On the other hand, a healer invest more points in healing prayers. In battle, Healer spam direct healing spells to keep ppl alive while a protection monk spam reversal fortune and protective spells. Healer+Protection Monks are great combo for any party.

Monk in PvP is all about energy management. Work out your own skill combo in healing/protection and make sure you always has an energy gaining method. Knowing when to heal and when to save your energy, when to run, it's all about experience. You would be doing fine as long as ur energy never run out. 1 monk in PvP is adequate for a 4 man team. Once you start pvping in 8 man setup, 3 monks is a standard.
