well, as for activation card, it is like one of those maxis/digi/celcom prepaid card where it has one of the guild wars character class as cover art..

the card is definitely much cooler maybe they changed the design of the card as well, as my GW prophecies special edition came with a collector card with ranger cover art...

Which copy should I get ?
you can start with either Factions or Prophecies, although it's advisable to start with Prophecies as it's easier to learn up.

How much should I prepare to buy them ?
currently only Factions and Prophecies are available. however 3rd chapter is schedule to release at the end of the year. Factions Standard Edition is available for RM188.

mind to explain to me how does the one time register fee goes like ?
no monthly fee required. buy the game and play as long as you like.

Theres an activation code in the GW package?
Yes. Both Factions and Prophecies have its own activation code. you can merge two chapters in one account by combining both activation codes together. you can also have two separate accounts by not combining the activation codes but your characters from Factions or Prophecies are unable to travel to each other continent.

mind to tell me a little about the jobs ?
Prophecies has Necro, Warrior, Monk, Mesmer, Elementalist and Ranger. Factions has all the six classes with additional of two new classes, Ritualist and Assasin.

What if my friend bought the UK version and I bought the USA version, can we still play together ?
yes, you will have 5 chances to change territory. once use up, you can't change no more. most malaysian play in US server.

when you bought either one chapter, you will have to key in the activation code in order to play the game. once you bought the other chapter, you will have an option to merge two accounts into one, so you will only have one account but you can access to both Factions and Prophecies gameplay. one account will give you 4 character slots. a merge account will give you 6 slots. and yes, there is an option for you to add the other chapter's activation code if you wanna merge the account

however if you don't merge the account, you will have a total of 8 slots from two accounts, meaning 4 in each account. but bear in mind that you can't access to Factions gameplay with your Prophecies characters (or vice versa) if you dont merge the both account.

basically all classes are balanced. there are no classes that are stronger than another. it's advisable to try out the classes to find which class suit your gameplay.

yeah. either one client is enough. the content of the other chapter can be stream into your pc without installing it if you already have Factions or Prophecies installed.

factions is available for rm 189 at pcgame.com.my. not sure about gamer.com.my though.

PvE - player vs enviroment (RPG/storyline gameplay)
PvP - Player vs Player
GvG - Guild vs Guild

Basically healer/bonder (protection monk) plays an important role in a mission or quest. i won't say its a supporting role coz without a good monk, most group probably won't last long. so its quite crucial and consider as one of the most important class that make up a group. monk is one of the easiest among all classes to get a group if you're on a mission, quest or even farming. good luck and do PM me ingame if need any help

necro is gaining momentum.. most groups want it for the ability to become minion factory (minion master - overwhelm enemy with sheer number of minions), curse (spiteful spirit build - a high damage spammer) and battery build (self sacrifice to provide energy regeneration for high-energy consume classes - usually monk). it can even go solo with 55 build for farming. quite versatile if you ask me.

take your time..you will have a chance to try out the ability of all the classes during the tutorial.

monk ugly?lol you haven't see female monk with the shortest height. it's the cutest character in GW

rm189 is from pcgame.com.my. unless he getting it from oversea, the price should be ~rm189 in malaysia. BTW, you can download the client from guildwars.com. so just ask your friend to pass you the activation key and you can play it. no need to wait for the actual cd to arrive
