yeah assassin is cool with linking skills. But there might be some new players who are not familiar with it..i was kinda blur when i first using it..but the assassin does give tribute to naruto.. ..it has the headband from naruto..hehe..not exactly the same but good enough nevertheless..

i think they will have only preorder weapons for those preorder players..as for the 'oriental' like looking guild hall and armor..it is for the new expansion

i check the taiwan offical website for GW..well they sold GW for 1280 taiwanese dollar..converted to malaysian ringgit..it costs about RM 150..i think i might purchase GW: Factions from their website through internet banking..hmmm

i think that if anet put in monthly fees, then i think many players will left lar..after all, gaile gray promises that there will be no monthly fees, that is what makes GW unique..

i think what anet mean is that if you choose the monthly fees package..you can play the new chapters like GW: Factions and the future expansions for free..actually if you guys see from the other perspective..anyway, we gonna pay when buying the new chapters and anet is gonna releasing two chapters per year..so it is just like paying monthly fees also if we are going buy every expansion released, it is only the fact that we don't need to pay for the content lar..what i meant is that the total amount of the money we spent every year if we are buying every guild wars expansion released is almost equivalent as the total amount of the money we spent per year if we are playing Guild Wars by paying the monthly fees..anyway, it is indeed ncsoft has breached the initial marketing plan that there is supposed to be no monthly fees..

there is no preorder available in malaysia..i believe..as for guild wars ordering..u can order it via www.gamers.com.my and www.pcgame.com.my..and they send it via post..

yeah, it really depends on you..like haneda says, it is mostly based on pvp..it means player vs player..and it is not mostly about grinding like most MMORPG..cause the level cap is 20 and you can gain experience point via quests and such..and moreover, this game is not item based, meaning you cannot pwn other player just because you have higher level and better item..=P..so how you beat the other player???..well, this game boasts a large amount of skills..as much as 175 skills per character that you make..=P..so it is up to you how you combine or place your skills within 8 slots..and other elements like positioning and such to outplay your opponent..

if you want to compare this game with dota, i guess this game is slightly more complex than dota..keke..speaking on my experience playing dota (used to play dota obsessively..=P)

since Guild Wars: Factions is released soon (28th of April in america so it will around early may in malaysia), so i prefer you to wait for the Guild Wars: Factions first..if you want to get hardcore on Guild Wars, then only buy original Guild Wars..

as for lagginess..lol..i play Guild Wars at home using 56k and there is rarely any lag in game..lol..

actually i think GW:F is no longer just for pvp players only..there are also good amount of content added in the pve part of the game..have to wait until early may..=.="..and exam is coming soon..T.T..

for the new players, i suggest to get into a guild to get the full enjoyment on the game..

for those who are new, i suggest u join into a guild and truly experience Guild Wars..there are two mammoth guild in malaysia..so far i know, which are goda vos and celestial order..i am currently a celestial order member..and so are a few others in this board..enjoy..

there is a lag problem in house zu heltzer ad1..apparently there is something wrong with anet's server..the technician there still figuring the way to fix it..

btw, i play using my fren's streamyx at klang..there is not much problem except a few lag which probably affected by his low RAM (my fren's com is using 256 MB RAM only *sweat*)..

but now lately i load my GW into my external HDD and play it in my nearest cc..well, not too bad except a few lag..=D

cannot be..if Guild Wars are to sell out, they will put the tag 'back order'..maybe they had some conflicts with the distributors, since pcgame.com.my apparently selling GW:F at a cheaper price..totally take the competition away from gamers.com.my..*ponder*..

hmm i tot the latest update should fix the problem d..hmmm
