A project stretched out to 1yr. Due to modifications, waiting new parts & latest technology.

Watercooled : CPU - Mosfet - North/South bridge - VGA. Twin cooling = Double pump, seperate loop.

GPU - EK full face waterblock rev. for XXX edition
CPU - Alphacool
Chipset & Mosfet - Bits Power.
Pump - MCP 355 + EK top
Reservoir - EK tube res 250mm size
Feser Tubing - sadly, i must say FESER tubing feels like my toilet hose. Even my garden hose is way better.
Liquid - Distilled water + non corrosive industrial addictive
Fittings - all Bitspower
Radiator - 1x 360mm Black ICE SR + 1x EK 360mm rad ( 2nd SR rad was damaged so i replaced with EK )
Fans - 120mm x 25mm NMB fan @ 0.22amp, 1600rpm. Being the least vibration, least noise & lease centre dead spot. "small core".
Alphacool Headmaster - pump & fan control with temperature sensor. <----- have not play with it yet till system is up.

Intel 980x -
Corsair Dominator 2000mhz CL 8, 6x 2gb = 12gb
WD Velociraptor SATA-3 600gb x 6units = RAID 0
EVGA Classified x58
Corsair 1000watt or 1200watt whichever arrive ( currently market no stock as of this post )
LIAN LI V2110 full tower case
Pioneer DVDRW

Monitor - 100" SUPER LED <---------------- just for a LAUGH

Stripping out entire case for anodizing & powder coating work. I take a lot of pictures b4 stripping so I can refer back when putting them together again.
There're actually quite a lot of rivets to remove. Removal has to be in sequence when putting them back together again. Miss it & I had to remove the rivets again.
The difficult part is none actually. Other than looking for the correct rivet size. The original rivets at the rear were not counter sunk type. We simply counter sunk it & put in counter sunk rivets to flush flat. I'm not sure if that is case modding or not ..

anodized red on aluminium parts. part with steel powder coated black. still nicer than all red or all black, too plain when all become 1 color.

slide in some paper into screw thread before powerder coating this section

putting the pieces together again. it took longer than stripping them apart

rotary cutting tool to mark out the lines first
user posted image

followed by jigsaw for straight lines. quicker
user posted image

final job before touching up the edges. just to note, make bigger screw holes so can align it better. never easy to manually drill 12x perfect screw holes.
user posted image

cutting 12pcs of screws for 3x 120mm fan to secure the case fan to the case then to the radiator.

thanks man,

i can post now again.

mounted up the 3x 120mm fan & radiator.
user posted image

a method i've always use to extend the rear radiator out, also as a shroud. reluctantly, no more 38mm faulty fan, i destroyed a perfect working 120mm x 38mm San ACE FAN !!

MCP 355 pump with EK top. The TOP is really good because
1) less heat
2) better flow rate
3) less noise ! than stock

beautiful EK gpu block
user posted image

Alphacool Headmaster. weird name though. it comes with a software, usb interface & able to monitor fan & pump rotational speed. also with thermal probe. will try it out when system is up !

Auzentech Home Theater HD base on XFI chipset.
user posted image

rip apart the dvd drive to spray black. haven't done it since like p3 time
user posted image

pump original wires removed & modded to 3pin header with black sleeve & connector.

here i use a piece of cut out aluminium from ( modded other lianli side panel ) to create a "back plate holder" for the tube reseroir i'm going to use. and also to conceal the cables behind neatly.

u can see i remove off partial section for the DVDRW, while leaving about 8mm gap at the bottom for the wires to go through.
Modders seeing this, can use this method to conceal the wires behind & no longer need to cut holes on mobo trays

@ kelvin, initially yea, very keen. but rental i think is higher than like 3yrs ago ... planned to do it in outskirt KL instead but i'm not familiar.

Also need a trustworty person to run the show too while i'm away. Perhaps 1 day when buz here in SG is stable & someone to look after full time, i'll go over !! meantime, just selling it via online / PM ..

thanks for the question.

on with the show !! btw, guys, the rig is not 100% complete yet, gonna sleeve up RED for the PSU & other visible wires infront. hidden ones will go all black. Earlier today, i just got the liquid in & running well, tmr noon will be good to take some videos & pictures when the sun is bright.

**** I've added 3 pictures above this post while adding more pictures to this post *****

fairly easy to do the marking behind.

the 2 holder for the 2 tube reservoir

my original creation, aluminium back plate + acrylic "spacer" made from loose unwanted acrylic pieces. I double tape them up.
user posted image

this is my favourite mod job for this project. i scan through my work area for the idea. now it is spaced out by about 9mm. purrfect !

this is how my back plate works !

chop this space for updates later ... biggrin.gif

oh, still got dancing flexilight to add in too. multi color, remote controlled color change.

btw all, it is not my rig ... building it for a good customer turn frend whom followed through 1 year for the project to settle.

meanwhile, break spoiler for previous work ... b4 uploading more pics. internet a bit slow to upload bulk pictures.

some more recent work, installed the operating system - win7 ultimate 64bit on the 6x stripped raid drive.

at first, i forgot no more than 2gb per drive.

still working on other smaller wires, custom making them to length & sleeving them up while software runs updates, testing o/c occasionally, etc.

user posted image

really guys, not many others show the back of their casing out there. this one may not be best looking cable management work, but we're still working on it
user posted image

2x 8pin EPS from the back corner to the top of the mobo area. we remvoed both the connectors, slide in the 16 wires & put back the connector again.
user posted image

perhaps some LEDs around here. i'll think about it again.

headache with few things. but should solve soon guys. i'll post some screen shots of performance up after that. & some O/C results too.

cheers.

1) memory unable to boot past 1600mhz with all 12gb rams. need to "tune"

2) one of the watercooling loop ( red tubes ) liquid suddenly turn milky. and now got to flush the liquid for the red tubes & put in new ones ..

3) rear sidepanel cannot close properly due to many wires ....
