Would like to share on privacy and legal issue of street photography / or any photography, i would like to recommend this book "Legal Handbook for Photographers: The Rights and Liabilities of Making Images" written by Bert Krages.

http://www.krages.com/lhp.htm

From my perspective , this book offer basic guidelines for photographer regarding issuee such as the photographer right, access to property, subject restrictions, publishing & licensing and etc.

Is this street photog or photo journalism?

street photog for sure

wiki say photojournalism is a particular form of journalism (the collecting, editing, and presenting of news material for publication or broadcast) that creates images in order to tell a news story.

talk about ethic.. what would you guys think if we come across a beautiful lady and we snap a picture of her..

didn't women loves to attract men's attention.. he he
would it be ethical to snap their picture or we can be labeled as a pervert? lol

ethically is not wrong to snap the lady photo if she in public area but i think depend on how you do it?

if you use ur camera to trail and follow her every steps to capture her photo on the whole strech of street = you could be labeled prevert/stalker

if stick ur cam infront of her face where she can see you, have to depend on her reactions and mood...

my best bet is try to be visible to public instead like hide and shoot type...

and if she dunwan her pciture to be taken, just delete the photo..
