Nice... he looks pretty absorbed in his performance.

Thanks. Btw, he never open his eyes throughout his performance. smile.gif

The lights from the huge screen is excellent to light up the subject. Those colorful guys were everywhere around bukit bintang until i get bored and dont feel like shooting them. Maybe shooting them as a background. blush.gif

You mean those colourful guys? There were few in green, purple, red, silver, gold and black (oppps, sorry no black!) tongue.gif They scattered along Jalan Bukit Bintang from opposite Fahrenheit (where you find most middle east people hanging out), in front of Maybank, in front of KFC (near Jalan Alor) until the end on Bukit Bintang (near Federal Hotel). Almost everytime when I hv my camera with me passing this place, I saw at least one of them. There was once I saw a chinese taukeh leading a group of them and tell them where to be. They charged RM2 for anyone interested to take photo with them.

Question for you street guys. You just walk everywhere with your cam hanging on your neck? And then when you see something just shoot first and worry later whether your subject will be annoyed/pissed or not?

Don't feel like a bit awkward/out of place/as if everyone looks at you when you have a camera?
*
Good question. As for me, I will not hang it on my neck, unless I'm using E-P2. I will just curl the strap over my hand and wander along the street. For some hip shot i will use my left hand to support (looks like the camera is to heavy that it needs two hand to support, while my right hand is pressing the shutter to lock focus and shoot.)

However, one thing i don't understand. I was always mistaken as a foreigner even I go jalan-jalan in KL. This could sometime be an advantage to me sometime as people dun't really bother when about foreigner shooting them. Btw, I'm just a common looking chinese.

^ Looks more to using tilt shift effect rather than bokeh, no?
*
Yes it is tilt shift effect stimulated using Bokeh 2.
