Perhaps you can post keep the image size to 800x600 or below. That helps with notebook screens.

Great shots of Bangalore (you live there?). Really captures the "street view"

I live in Bangalore (at the moment) - when is this sony convention advertisement going to disappear?

Also AA batteries are quite practical also huh.. Like now i'm outside and out of battery= cannot shoot sad.gif

Buy few extra Lithium-Ion batteries? I will resort to that if I must (with a non AA-using-DSLR).
So far I'm happy using AA NiMH batteries. If run out of charge - can buy alkaline AA batteries in emergency situations~

Got this yesterday~

This is an example of a beggar in Bangalore, I believe they are called 'Hegiras'.
Usually they will have long hair (as with most pondans), but today I encountered one that is unusual.~

Local belief dictates that if one refuses to give money to this kind of people, bad luck will occur.

As I am a foreigner, I don't give a damn about such nonsense. An able-bodied MAN like that should be working instead of begging in the streets.

Welcome to the real India.

Just had a look at your flickr... maybe you can start a "real India" set or something similiar.

I find your street photos very interesting... don't get those on natgeo.

ps: ur there for studies/work or for good?
*
I haven't snapped a lot to make a "real India" folder yet~ Perhaps after I got a few dozens more...
I'm studying in my final year now... then maybe I'll hang around for awhile before returning back to Malaysia~ smile.gif
