taken using the POP Art feature in the camera. Everything is Auto. But I thought EP-2 is good in High ISO?mmm...

Depending on definition of high ISO.... some consider ISO800 as high ISO.... some consider ISO 12800 as high ISO

a lil bit regret for getting ep-2 cause I think GF1 produces better image? no? LOL

i think the problem with compacts or rangefinder you cannot get wide. most of them usually are limited or fixed. yes i know it works well with the legends of street photog but in Malaysia today you cannot use fixed lens to get good composition. for god sake you have to realize, streets of Malaysian cities are not like those in France! if you use rangefinder is even harder. believe me street photography in Malaysia needs UWA, that is the only way.

anyway, i dont like dslr street photography pics. seen thousands of them so boring. dslr dont have the texture and the tone. stop pretending you are so deep and artsy. trust me, turning your dslr to B&W mode and set it at 3200 ISO wont do shit.

I don't understand . Perhaps you can elaborate more. Why cannot use fixed lens ? Also why have to use UWA.

yeah i know its harsh but i have to admit i also once tried street photography but failed to move any further.

haha. but i think most DSLR users are self proclaimed anti-establishments as well.


you used 50mm prime lens before? legends like HCB used them alot but their pictures looked like they are paintings. But 50mm you used on KL streets i bet 10000 dollars you will have a damn CAR in your composition!! lol. ill elaborate about this later. need to go work now.

Dslr users where got anti-establishment? There's a high percentage of photo-snobs yes... but most just go about doing their own thing shooting flowers or collecting expensive gears

Some people take great candid shots with phonecam, some take good ones with dslr's etc.... they suka lar. Better hide the EXIF to avoid pixel-peeping.

using fixed lens... not a problem..


if u cant do it.. dont say all the people should not...

Anybody else use primes and snap street pic with no car inside? We can do a "class action suit" for the 10,000 dollar. We can share share the windfall.
