Man, this phone is so beautiful to use naked (minus case or screen protector). However, besides being a fingerprint magnet, the backside plastic scratches easily!

I've only had my phone either in my hand or in my pants pocket but already there are hairline scratches all over the backside - trying not to worry too much about it as long as the screen and the shiny sides don't get scratches. Backside can always be replaced, after all it's all 1 piece..

Hmm, not sure if the display is scratchproof glass, but it doesn't seem to scratch easily. Must think long and hard whether I want to put on an SP..

Anyone in the same boat as me, enjoying things without any protection, ahem?

+1 I believe that is the way to use a product. Why buy a leather sofa and cover it with plastic - you cannot enjoy the natural feel. Normal wear and tear is to be expected. We cannot treat it like gold besides the phone will become near obsolete in less time than it will last. Screen protectors just make the experience less satisfactory and cases just add bulk to the size factor.

I think my laptop can put in cold storage edi. Surfing on the SGS while lying in bed is so much more comfortable than hunching over the lappie. tongue.gif

time to get rid of outlook too. use thunderbird and sync thunderbird with gmail (using zindus add-on). and then sync gmail with galaxy. that way all 3 (your local pc mail client, thunderbird), your web mail client (gmail) and your galaxy will be in perfect sync.

Same here. Papago M7 can be installed but no map available. The hack map with TW header is not working properly. I don't mind paying for the software but it is very hard find one here.

Could someone recommend me a carrying case? Been asking around a few day now with no availability as well. I am currently running my set naked sad.gif
I'm using omnia2's screen protector as a temporary measure to tie me until i could find a proper screen protector.

I have Papago X5 installed. Bought it from m3 rm149 and I can confirm it works well. The map used is Malfree.

m3 initially installed for me 2 months ago but it wasn't working right for eclair 2.1 so when the update was out, they sent me the cd. by that time i already changed my phone so i installed on my galaxy s, so yes it is self installation and it works well. rm149 is not bad. i don't think you can share but can check unc google for the ahem way.
