wow.....manage to get 1 satellite signal in my bedroom.....
fyi... my house in 1st floor fully covered by building with 15-18 floor high....
and maxis signal in my bedroom is 1-3 bar max! sometime no signal.

My sgs is rooted and firmware is jg5..... I only change the skyhook to ON (default is OFF). That it's I didn't change others setting.
Tested out door lock signal @ 5second. Using the test gps in the menu.

Change the credit limit to lower will help or not.
I just change to rm 300 and received sms comfirmation

restart your computer and make sure disconnect the phone and go to KIES and select driver recovery....
once finis
h recoverty.. reconnet your phone again.

latest kies is v1.5.1.10071_32

can anyone share d jm2 firmware file?
the download seem no tomorrow...... extreamly slow......?

i think it solved after update to JM1 and above... yesterday i do a lot connect and disconnect to pc for play firmware upgrade.... it seem everytimes i connect ... kies is launch and detected i9000 phone.....

previously.... i also got issue with the kies where it not able to find the device... need to do driver recovery before success connect to phone.

important improvement is flash 10.1 enable!!!

firmware jp3 got a option to enable or diable data network... can access via press and hold power button.... just now i tried when enable... will get all the HSPDA, 3G or Edge signal (shown on the top indicator bar)
when select disable data mode... it completely shut off the data access....

i believe the JP2 firmware also got this features... but i seem it but not test it.....
now on rooted JP3...

i feel lag but surprising the quardant score above 1000 (>1100)...
chrome lite not stable... crash or not responce and the click on text box the keypad very slow show up....
so far install flash 10.1 also... but not able to test on flash due to the unstable issue...

anyone got similiar issue
or better solution??

i do use kingston 4gb micro sd card also... with works...
but quadrant benchmark take 5-6minutes to finish... but the result is fantastic. around 15xx -17xx

any 1 enounter with maxis 3g apn setting
running on jm2 i set the apn correctly according to 1st and also google maxis 3g apn setting...

right now i not able to enable data over mobile network... no matter how i setting up the apn...
i found out this issue after i flash firmwre from JP2-JP3 back to JM2...
??
