All I can say is... SGS rocks my socks!
I am yet to root, but I will soon root. Maybe wait for 2.2

Only thing is with my GPS. It is not working. My settings should be correct. It works while I was in Nigeria 2 weeks ago. Now when I am back, my navigation is not working at all.

Weird? How can I overcome this?

Can anyone show me how to stop data connection? 3G data connection...

Go to market and download APNdroid. It will close your data connection...
If you plan to switch between 2G and 3G.
Go to Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Use only 2G networks (tick)

I did this as the promoter recommended. But sometimes it will eat you a few kilobytes even we close the data connection...  unsure.gif

Really? Then how would it be best to turn it off?
I guess if one is on a 3GB plan, it shouldn't hurt much tho...

I got a major issue here now.

One of my Google account went missing suddenly. The droid ate it I presume.
Trying to add it back, but it says:

"Can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. this could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services. If it continues, call customer care."

What? How can I solve this? Read most of the forums, but couldn't find an answer that works... sad.gif

No one can help me here? The exact error message:
You don't have a network connection.
This could be a temporary problem or your phone may not be provisioned for data services. Please try again when connected to a mobile network, or connect to a Wi-Fi network. If the problem continues, call Customer Care.

I tried setting my APN, then reboot, then clear some caches. It still doesn't work. sad.gif
