mine idle is arnd 58C .

mine idle around mid 40c full load then it gets up to high 70c

yeah mine clocked at 4.2 with 1.275v iinm .
single quad rad cooling down proc + mobo .
so its CPU + mosfet + NB + SB
is it on the high side ?
i think its doing okay since its x58 .

mine is oc'ed to 4.2 also with ht off. and i also have 2 gtx480s in the same loop, maybe u need to service your loop. was it high like this when u 1st install?

yeah, as suggested maybe can try clean up block. I get a 10c difference after cleaning junk inside my block.

my case is high temp on sandy bridge compare to 6 months ago after numerous time of changing wc component without cleaning the block.
