Please never forget that tap water or mineral water can cause corrosion to most metals, I can recommend the use of sterile water or rain water which is left untouched for about a few days instead if you're on a tight budget.

Distill water if left in the sun or opened will promote algae growth. Just get biocide. Silver killcoil is still best, just dont drink the water afterwards......

Is that 999 silver? somehow the colour looks more like sterling silver which is 925.

If you want your fish to die and your tank to be clean then yes it will work.... fish tank needs algae and micro organism to break down waste ie all your fish pee and poos.

Should google cycling fish tank and you will find out dennos.

Won't it scratch the res because of the recycling water?

The silver came as coil shaped?

I don't know how much is it as I never paid for it. But if you are interested you can shoot me a PM and I will find out from my cousin tomorrow.

It wont scratch the Res. It's so dense that it drops down to the bottom of the Res and would not move once it gets in. It comes in a strip and you can polish it however you want, and bend it however you want.
