Can someone assure this, EK/swiftech radiator is using type A or type B radiator?  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

Received it today after some "chit-chatting" in Pos Office custom office...they simply don't believe that it's for PC usage. And they wanted to charge me RM4xx based on the invoice amount. So I taught them what is PC water cooling...and showed them how to use google to search for such thing. doh.gif Last last the croc closed book, and asked me how much I want to give him. Show him my wallet with RM60, he pointed at the 50 note.

Opened up the box when I reached home, it's HUGE and heavy...no wonder they keep thinking it's for car usage... sweat.gif

Things always arrived without problems no matter how much the amount was. But this, the custom just doesn't believe it's for PC...

That's why the custom kept asking me what else it can be used for besides on a PC...haha. Well, I'm going to run just 9 fans on it at the moment...but might try to put 18 fans see what's the difference in the future. smile.gif

Yea, lucky I didn't go to bank 1st...otherwise it won't be RM50. Actually, from what I know, all PC related stuffs are tax-free. The croc doesn't have an updated list on computer tech stuffs...all they have in the book is "Data Processing Unit". And they are like a total noob when it comes to this kind of things. One of the croc even told me he was a programmer and was in IT industry before...but he doesn't know what I was talking about when he asked about my CPU, and I told him it's a Sandy Bridge i7. rclxub.gif In fact, all my previous packages arrived with no problems (from same vendor) at all and some of them cost even more than this rad. It's just that there is no "clear" description on the invoice nor there is a manual/guide saying that it's for PC water cooling. On top of that, from the rad packaging box it does look like it's for performance car... laugh.gif That's why the custom doesn't believe it's for PC. They asked me, is it to put inside or outside of the PC. If inside, then it's for PC. If outside, then it's not...WTF?! So I told them my PC case is 3 times bigger then theirs, and that rad is going into my PC case...and they were like blink.gif

Afaik the BTX term is used for mobo only.
BTX mobo has CPU socket placed at upper part of the board.
As for casing with right side panel opened we should call it inverted or reversed.

yeap
inverted atx .
but i oso normally call it btx .

anyway, its better this way since the heat production from GPUs are more than CPU .

higher temp air will stay at top .
a good way to disperse the heat out of casing .
put fans that are sucking air out upwards .

so its a good design for PC tongue.gif

just my 2cents .

inverted or reverse shud be the correct term. btx is referring to btx mobo. inverted or reversed also looks nice with wc setup which has rad at the bottom.
