yup just a beauty case with less potential wc. unless u can live with that. or u can mod id and maybe put a rad outside the case. tho it wud defeat the aesthetic

QUOTE(sam0919 @ Jul 17 2011, 01:26 AM) waiting for my gtx590 back from rma..at the same time just check the gtx590 water block instaallation... thermal pad can get from ezzydamvp, made by ek for ek wb. there are 2 types of thickness i believe u need both for ur gc block. follow the instruction manual provided thermal pad is required as illustrated.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2WRg64JxHg wanna ask..where can i get the thermal pad like the guy show in the video ? does it really matter if i dun put ? and also the thermal paste where should i get it from ? i bought ek water block for gtx590..inside dun have thermal paste .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGeERB7BDHM this is the ek waterblock that i bought from clawhammer..jus wonder where can i get the thermal paste ..and the thermal pads which comes with the block ...it seems not enough... thermal paste can find in our garage sale, Arctic MX4, Tuniq TX4, etc to name a few.. |

Yea, they come in different thickness, and should be included with the water block box. Study the guide carefully, and cut them up according to the guide. The pad provided will be more than you need. The important thing is don't put the wrong pad in the wrong section or else you will fried some components. Just becareful, and don't rush. I spent around 2hrs+ to get everything done on the GPU alone, just to make sure things were done correctly. It's way harder than installing the CPU block.

I'm still using the older TX2 since it's easier to apply & I bought 20pcs last time. Added on July 17, 2011, 11:23 amIf u cut the thermal pad into small square pieces according to manual that would be enough. But i prefer to cut it in long rectangular shape to paste on the adjacent chips at one shot so that it will stick firmly.
