i know there is a mini one, but we only stock the big one. The mini one need to use the hard drive externally with the toaster dock. The big one can fit in the harddisk internally.

Our pricing is not much different from those offered by others, slightly higher because we stock a lot of HDD.
We also have blu-rays movies.

The cooling fan, is just a regular laptop cooling fan. But we hand picked the one with the blue LED, so it looks good on the display in our showroom.

The ACRyan wireless dongle doesn't just use any Realtek driver. So if your dongle is Realtek based, it doesn't mean it works out of the box with de PlayonHD. The original dongle is to my knowledge a Realtek RTL8192S Wireless 802.11b/g/n USB 2.0 Network Adapter.

The same driver is also used by Realtek for the RTL8192SU, RTL8188SU, RTL8191SU and RTL8192GU Wireless Network Adapters. If these all work with the ACRyan PlayonHD is beyond my knowledge, but they probably do......

So as stated before, the above wireless dongles should surely work. But probably many, many more.........
as long as your wireless dongle uses the same driver as the Realtek RTL8192S and equivalents.

AC Ryan can work as a stand alone player, both with or without HDD installed internally.
AC Ryan can work with a HDD Dock connected via USB, and can stream or share media file across a network (Ethernet LAN or WLAN). However it cannot work with external blu-ray drive.

From our experience AC Ryan is good as an entry level for high definition 1080P entertainment. As I have mentioned, entry level pricing will start from between RM500 to slightly below RM1000, and reason of it being lower price compared to Dune is the processor, the built in memory and long term firmware support from manufacturer.

We have seen many cases of customers upgrading to Dune after several months of using AC Ryan, because Dune is a high end media player, versatile and expandable.

Some customers tell us they already own a media player that cost betweenRM100 to RM300, and any difference in terms of movie playability and quality compared to Dune? The answer is yes, and it is in terms of fluidity of the graphics and loading time, because of the build in memory and Sigma processor can handle high resolution video more effectively and efficiently, if it is connected to a full HD 1080 TV, you will get the optimal result.
Sometimes depends on what movie format you feeding to the player as well. Dune players also has a very user friendly menu in there firmware.

Before we started this company, we use to deal with low end and mid range media players that prices RM500 below. So understandably many unit were sold very quickly, but from our experience and feedback from customers, the movie file takes longer time to load, and some movies has menus and there is lag time when navigate from one scene to another scene. Some HD media players are designed to be so compact in size, which result to poor ventilation, and overheating can lead to video being jerky and laggy up to a permanent damage to the main processor.

Our demo unit of Dune BD Prime 3.0 is running through out our business hours since the first day we started business, apart from the usual firmware upgrades for bug fixes, other than that it still works flawlessly. This further strengthen the brand image in terms of quality and durability.

Some customers ended up paying more than expected, because they upgrade from a low/mid range player to using Dune players. Therefore choosing the right HD media player is very importantOur customers who buys Dune are actually investing for a long term usage, quality, durability, and ultimately translates to more value for money.(cost savings).

We have also encountered cases of customers who wish to upgrade to using Dune after they have seen their friends using Dune or a few days later after they visited our showroom. Some even bring in their own media players and compared it with us in our showroom, and we can visually see the differences. That's the real purpose of having a showroom.
