Dear Lowyat,
Can u create more security n protection on lowyat trade zone, due to nowaday alot ppl have been con/scam at the lowyat.net and the victim getting more and more.Can u take some action on this zone,i also 1 of the victim.

Example u can create more detail on tade zone like :IC, name, Bank Acc, Home address, Phone number, Creadit Card.....etc...like Lelong.com.Once have any been cheated or reported, u can terminate the acc and can help to send the detail to make a police report.So that in future this ppl will not allow to log in to Lowyat anymore,for police side is depend on them want to take action or not..cant control.Bcoz Malaysia BOLEH

Above is my suggestion, hope u can take fast action to this all scammer/conman.

btw this is at the wrong section and if u dont mind to sponsor lowyat.net with all the funds needed to start such a big security project. i think they dont mind doing it.

To TS: The best rite now you can do is dealing with the seller/dealer is long-term dealing in LY with alot of transaction and verified by members themselves..but not spamming "senior members" like joined date at 2008/2009 with 3000 posts and etc or especially newbie...that's the only way u can reduce the risk..I'm not saying 100% but it's better...

the best u can do is do a risk assessment before making a deal.


Example RM100 above = COD only

Below RM100 = Postage or COD

New member = COD only

With alot of tradelist = can consider postage but same RM500 < below only

Old member but no post count and no trade list = COD only

I know some say COD also can get cheated
example if you buying a phone then treat your buddy and bring him along. He can check for faulty or problem as fast as u can snap your fingers because they know what to look for.

No need COD, no cheating, no harm to your body, just postage.

They are talking about dealing in LYN,bro...

He oso got complaint from forumer..

since LYN has so many users now, having a escrow / safetrade / alipay kind of paying system could be profitable to LYN....
the alipay in taobao has made billions (of course due to china population), and in LYN, i don't see the problem to make at least millions if it has such features.....

i think the best way is 'ourselves' ... to cod / postage , we decide.....
is hard to control all this issues in lyn .....
