Speaking of newbies with FF..

I remember my pub 2nd game at Residential..One guy kena Parasite, then the Flamer and one guy started shooting/punching at him till he died. XD

Still happens now. Some people still punch if you get a Parasite on you.

I'm assuming they are trying to get rid of the parasite. Unfortunately, the only way to save an infected marine is with healing.

However, if you have no way of saving your infected team mate, it would be better if you killed him/her so that the person doesn't explode into a mass of parasites. Yes, TKing your infected team mate doesn't cause them to explode into a mass of parasites.

There's also the tesla armour. It takes awhile to kill the parasite though, so still needs healing on top of that.

ah they improve the issues with SynTek residential? I thought I was the only one with low FPS during that level.

There is a patch for Alien Swarm both the game and the dedicated server portion.

now just wanna have fun killing some time. insane mode is from addon only right?
