if u sent to the data restore center, they require a very clean place to do their duty. This post has been edited by lex: Feb 12 2006, 06:25 PM

QUOTE(cheenjeat008 @ Oct 18 2005, 10:39 PM) Good day, Finally i found the software that can meet my requirement and this software is really powerful. QUOTE(cheenjeat008 @ Oct 18 2005, 11:10 PM) Compare to the OnTrack EasyRecovery, the Stellar Phoenix FAT & NTFS is far more powerful than the OnTrack, but the User Interface is not attractive as the OnTrack.
After the comparison between the OnTrack and Stellar Phoenix, i will recommend the Stellar for more advance recover (like my photo-2mb case). As conclusion, both software perform well in normal recover task. Thank you and have a nice day. ontrack EasyRecovery Pro v6.03 lose to Stellar Phonenix Fat & NTFS? any reffer url for stellar? QUOTE(cheenjeat008 @ Nov 8 2005, 06:04 PM) Good day, In the case for the recover folder and file name, the ontrack will set their own file and folder name, while the Stellar software let you to have a glance view on the recover data with the previous folder and files name..... can give us again the full name of the software kah? QUOTE(lucifah @ Dec 25 2005, 12:42 PM) cheenjeat: thanx
anyway, here's my share of stoopid maxtor drive
yes, i have a maxtor drive. it's an 80gb HDD that is used as a tertiary drive, seldom accessed, keeps all my manga (about 80% full) and suddenly, one fine farking day, the hdd master file table just got corrupted
that was 2 months ago. lucky that i was soooo lazy to re-format everything. i got the chance to recover 100.00% of my files, INTACT, and with ease in less than 2 hours (that's about 250,000+ individual files, mind you)
what software u say? it's none other than the full version STELLAR PHOENIX FAT & NTFS recovery software. works like a charm i tell you. however, ur gonna need another different hdd to store all recovered files (in my case, i have 3 different hdds) u both using the same version? QUOTE(shahrilridzwan @ Jan 4 2006, 11:55 AM) My WD 80GB HDD also crashed last week. My windows XP didn't detect the hdd & turned it into RAW File System. The bad thing is, I've ran chkdisk and it has created some new folders in the hdd which contains .chk or .001 files.
I've tried to recover the hdd by using Stellar Phoenix FAT & NTFS & Active @ Undelete but failed.
The software that can recover my hdd are Stellar Phoenix RAW File Recovery & Ontrack RAW Recovery. But Ontrack RAW Recovery has resized my >5MB recovered pictures to 160 x 120. Stellar Phoenix needs an activation code in order for it to start recovering my hdd. (I have the demo version, which only allows me to search the hdd but not recover).
So anyone out there know any good RAW File Recovery softwares that I could use? Which of course, have available cracks. I know there's EASEUS DataRecovery, but there's no available cracks for in online.
Cheenjeat008, do you have the crack for Stellar Phoenix RAW File Recovery. I need it desperately. Stellar Phoenix FAT & NTFS & Active DIFERRENT with Stellar Phoenix RAW File Recovery? This post has been edited by lex: Feb 12 2006, 06:15 PM

QUOTE(aranur @ Feb 8 2006, 05:07 PM) just recovered my bust up thumbdrive (EMTEC) using a very cool software called DFSee. DOS program running in a shell inside windows xp. R-Studio and a couple of other software was tried and all failed.
what led to the problem was my attempt at making my thumbdrive bootable for Damn Small Linux. it made two partitions and one was a swap, thus hidden. after a successful run, i tried changing it back to fat32 for the usual data commuting role. then the disaster striked. primary partition gone, secondary hidden. even QParted on Knoppix couldn't do a thing. is tat freeware too? QUOTE(cheenjeat008 @ Feb 13 2006, 12:26 PM) Good day, After you face the lost file problem, don't add any file to your hdd, because the new file might be stack on your old file, then you can't find your old file. At the same time, dont defragment your hdd before you recover your file with any recovery software... By the way, sorry for the late reply AnimeAsia, do you get a full version of S & P recovery software?? Thank you and all the best... r u refer to the stellar raw receover? QUOTE(IanLim @ Apr 26 2006, 08:48 PM) Thanks for the reply, i do have another computer wif OS, but, it doesn't support SATA drive... I had found one program name R-Studio Emergency thats allows me to move files in DOS mode, but, it's only support 64kb of size limit, it requires computer's activation code which only could be obtain from RTT site after input the purchase details, there are not keygens or crack or full version of this one. So far, only this programs does what i really want... Or maybe some of you knows the alternates which does the same functions? The programs that i mention can be found here: http://www.data-recovery-software.net/Data..._Download.shtmlwhy u dun just use other pc with os & sata onboard? QUOTE(highman @ May 23 2006, 01:37 PM) disk management cant read the dynamic disk status, because ur disk format is upgrade to dynamic mode. even if u format the disk, it cant resinstall back the windows. because there still in dynamic status. it will prompt u an error while installing progress. u try to delete all the partitions, recreate a new partitions. then format. the data, i believe it hard to recover back. try use the ontrack easy recovery sw dulu.
