i facing exactly the same prob like u
i using maxtor 60G
same cannot b seen in windows..bios can b detected but same as urs info is all 0
got noisy sound like this "ti ti ti ti ti..."
when "ti" is sounded mean the hdd is been read or write...i think so

same change all the ide port,cable,master,slave
it is just the same
but lucky i back up some important files but still some important files inside

so any1 have any idea how to solve it??
can b repair??

need help from all of u

just now i went to ask a computer shop to help me to recover the data
but the pro the told me the hdd is dead
cannot use software to recover the data
even change of the board does not help

i hv been told tat that is only way to recover the data
is to take out the disk but this nid those very pro only can do
n sound very expensive
coz this is hardware faulty...

i need some help...
any1 knw wer got provide those hardware repair?

help!!!!
