super agree with you. I hope other parties have a chance to seriously be a contender as a Government so Malaysia can try and see which method of running the country is best for them. Also, if other parties can form a Government, it will encourage BN and other parties to be more efficient and work in ways that benefit everyone. Otherwise, will be like now punye attitude lo. "We will win wan la. Why need to do so many things. Near election just show face, smile, do charity, build bridge, step on other parties, kau tim."

As for me, some people feel like we should be happy with what we have even though they're only giving us bread crumbs while others are eating bread. I'm a big eater, I just need my bread. XD

Well I also feel malaysia is quite unchanging because the same party rules every year and they do the same things. There is no improvement. As far as I see, there is only backward running. I mean our tax money has always subsidized the daily products we use. Suddenly they say Malaysia will bankrupt. Seriously, we earn more now. If we should go bankrupt we should have bankrupt 20 years ago.

Also, if everything keeps changing and becoming better, then corruption and all that inequality crap will be harder to stick around which massively benefits everyone.

You should also notice how our ministers refer to Malaysia as "multi racial country" or "Islamic country" whenever it suits them best.

Our current Govt wants to be Govt forever right. ~.~ If things change it will be harder to continue things the way they easily do now. They may actually have to WORK then.

By mega projects you mean the 800 million they're spending on another istana for our Agong? Which is pretty crappy IMO. We have fixed amounts of raja and sultan and agong. Each of them already have their own istana. Apasal wanna waste space and waste tax money for the enjoyment of ONE person.

No govt should be on forever. How is it democratic if the same govt runs for 50 years. You win some you lose some. You can't wear the same shirt for 50 years. Time and style changes.

Just talking about foreign investment, that is so doomed... You know the government limits foreign investment and plus they bring down local investment by not giving them privileges that foreign investors enjoy.

They need to subsidize our daily products because it affects all Malaysians and also because they don't control price inflation well. When sugar, salt, oil or petrol price raise, everything's price raises. When the goods prices come down, those raised prices don't. It is not a waste of every citizen benefits from it.

Problem of lack of funds for health, education and and transportation is caused by crazy projects that don't benefit everyone, like the Agong's istana. can you imagine the good it will do to put 250 million into each of those 3 sectors instead.

Malaysian govt should not cut money from here and there. They should just spend the money they have wisely on what to invest.

The english re-convert for maths and science is positively stupid! I mean, when you go to college all your books will be in english that is more complicated then those you have in school. Yes the malay students will suffer for a few years for those who find it hard to catch up. so extra tutorial hours should be given to those who need. They will need it in college anyways. It will benefit other rising students in school when they get used to the system. Many of the english batch students did so well.

You know that during elections we have ghost voters right? Plus there are thousands of unregistered Malaysians who refuse to vote because they feel that the effort is a waste and futile.

Oh ya that case! I remember there was another where a chinese couple held hands and kissed (lightly) in KLCC. They were forced to marry and fined. like syariah law. Weird thing is I see foreigners doing PDA at klcc and nothing happens.

~.~ Actually don't you think that the ministers should only have slightly more luxurious privileges than other working people. Being a minister is a job too. In malaysia they're more like a royal title entitling them to super expensive goods paid with the people's money.

This is why I lol'ed when the govt keep saying that their good labor of educated people all migrate forgetting their country of origin. It's not like we get a lot here. Why not migrate? And obviously they migrate because they are offered a better life there.

That's the thing. Malaysians wanna be like white folks but then they are also advised white culture is bad. Thus in bahasa melayu we have a term called "budaya kuning" for them.

Actually... I was supporting changing the syllabus to English. I noticed a difference due to the change. My English has always been slightly above average. When I went to college and was faced with terms I knew but was in another name and explanation, I had a difficult time for a while. I had to convert whatever I learned first.

In comparison, my brother's english was slightly below average. He was the first lucky batch who learned chemistry and stuff in English. When he went to college, he did not struggle. He only needed to build on what he already knew, like normal studying. And of course his english became a lot better and now his english is on the same level as mine due to the english education.

So in a long term the students would benefit from the english syllabus because they are already equipped well with what they knew without the need to convert and again make sense of things.

Lol, I mean A LITTLE better than us. I mean, you can give them a proton saga, you can give them slightly better cushioned chairs, but don't give them 4 million for an office. It's not like anyone else can go in and use it anyways. They shouldn't make the gap between the working class and the ministers THAT far apart.
