Finally got back my streamyx internet connection after 72 days !!

anyone ever complaint for rebate or refund due to service failure by the Tmnet before ?

i did it b4. complain and ask for rebate last time for service interruption.

call them today . they check and said already got previous report number . they ask me to keep the report number , and ask to wait the process 2-3 month to check the bills again for changes .. True ?

hello guys, wanna ask does streamyx uni pack package include phone call service without charge, if only exceed limit RM40 then it will be charge?

i need some opinion/advise from all sifu here.

i just upgrade & activated 1Mb streamyx package to Blockbuster 4Mb package by TM last week.

the weird thing happen if i use the router (TM6841G) given by TM always can get 4Mb~4.3Mb randomly each connection and dl speed can reached 400~450KB but have one issue is the router will sure hang randomly in one to few hour and no connection at all. i try to call the TM technician to change the router and the result also same.

If i switch back my existing router Aztech DSL605EW (support up to 26Mbps) will no such problem even running more than 48 hours but the router detect my port at 2.6~3.2Mb max.

May i know the problem is the router or my port.
Any comments/solution from yours is appreciated.

edit :
1. if select ADSL_2plus mode, no connection at all.
2. if select ADSL_2plus + ADSL_2plus_DELT mode, auto switch to ADSL_G.dmt.bis mode.
so far most efefctive mode is ADSL_ANSI_T1.413, can detact 3616Mb currently.

any other advise is welcome ^^

I'll be visiting TMpoint and see if they could upgrade change my existing coolunipack to 4Mbps.

Seems like lot of people upgrading their CoolUnipack..
Will they ask any chop from Uni/College?

yes , there's termination fee u need to settle first in case ur package still under contract period

i already fill the form to upgrade my cool uni pack from rm38 to rm88 (4mbs) he tell me need wait for 3days..if i upgrade can i downgrade?or can i cancel the upgrade?

Nope. You cannot downgrade your packages anymore unless your contract already end. If you still want to downgrade your packages, get ready to pay the penalty fees of RM600 plus your remaining subscription months to TM. For Unipack, the contract will be 2 years from the date of service activation.
I don't really sure about cancelling the upgrade process, maybe if they still not process your application to upgrade, probably you can cancel it. BTW, if your area cannot support 4Mbps streamyx after technician come to do some line test at your home, and in that case, TM allowed you to cancel the upgrade process... Or maybe they will insist to upgrade your application, but to the slower one like 1Mbps which will be costs RM68 per month...
