dear missforte,

since you just got your car mind to check whether your SX pull to the left?

is the tyre noise tolerable?

fuel consumption?

acceleration power?

i'm still trying to understand and find out why the majority of the buyers went for the 1.6LSX. i understand it is value for money, push start button, ECS, and many more (which i prefer as well) but what about tyre noise and slower acceleration? perhaps slightly higher fuel consumption can still be accepted but what about stiffer ride? is it practical to drive with 215/45R17 given the terrible roads that we have in malaysia? if we change to better tyre like michelin, does the tyre noise be reduced significantly? what about the ride with still low profile tyre? still stiff?

the question is, "is comfort being compromised for features, look (17inch rim), and cornering ability"?

when the market is filled with 1.6SX, i believe the resale value for the SX will be much better than the EX. is this generally true for used car market? demand for higher spec. exceeds lower spec.?

stolen? is it because there is no alarm? how did they push start the engine button without the key (cannot detect the sensor)?

this is worrying. i heard there was a period where honda civic was so hot that it became a target for hijack. hope forte is not going to fall in the same category due to its stunning look...

now it's july. about 7-8 months since launch and i can see more forte on the roads now.

what is the general feedback of CBU vs CKD Forte?
is there really a significant difference in the quality of parts and assembly?

is there any part (or spec.) that has been changed? i.e. parts sourced locally now instead of from Korea?

Added on July 24, 2010, 10:04 amwhen talking about increase of car price, normally how long before a car maker increase it? after 1 year from launch or during the next face lift?

what is the justification for the increase? because it has started CKD for forte? hence more work for local workers rather than just import as CBU?

something is not right. forte sales dropped 35% in july.

what happened? forte is still having advertisement once a while in the star whereas i don't see much on vios and city but they still improve their sales. why?

5 years warranty and unlimited mileage??
now it matches VW!!

too good to be true? it makes no excuse to buy forte. no more 2 years or 50k km.

Added on October 19, 2010, 5:24 pmforte vs inspira
which is worth buy??
4 speed vs CVT
1.8 vs 1.6
i like forte but 17inch tyre makes noise and lag during acceleration. i want OEM hence not bold enough to downgrade to other rim like 16. Hope Naza Kia will offer 15 and 16inch rim soon like canadian website the rim is very cool
