Hi! I'm new here, from Pg but station temporary in JB. Soon to be owner of purplish blue Forte 2.0 (Sgp. edition). Just have a quick check on it today and well, it comes with sunroof, std BK and tint although the last 2 items are yet to install. The rest are all the same like the std version.
For that add, items, I've to fork out another 7k! How guys, do you think it worth to that amount of RM?
*
hi bro, does the Sgp. edition have the push start feature?

Hi guys,

Im planning to get a forte 1.6sx soon. Need suggestions on these:

1. Can recommend dealer that can provide high trade value in for my 2002 1.5 wira a/back manual.
2. Good dealer that can give high discounts/gifts or etc
3. Banks that offer lower interest rate. Been scouting for banks and lowest i can find is from affin 3.45% for 9yrs.

Currently working with GLC company and having no other comitment.

Hope to get some feedback from u guys Thank you very much

guys, im so interested in this car,
how much ur monthly installment ?
is it possible to have RM7++ monthly installment ?
how much the down payment to make it possible?
*
Did mine with RHB Islamic for loan amount RM63000 at 3.2% interest. Monthly RM752. Trading in my old wira and +some own money. Thus downpayment is about RM80560.50 (NCB Full) - RM63000 = RM17560 Loan approved but havent signed yet. Waiting next week after raya as they need a guarantor from me.

Demn the new forte 2011 looks kinda nice pulak. Should wait or just go for this forte? hermm...

Don't take this the wrong way... but ask your friend... if his basis for buying a new car is that the parts must be cheap, then the best choice is Proton. tongue.gif

Personally, I'd pick the car based on what are my wants and needs, budget and what the car has to offer. Another thing to consider is that (for example) Honda parts aren't really "cheap". I would, however, concede that the time taken to order the parts for Kia may be an issue... hopefully that will quickly change once more people change their mindsets towards Kia.

All original spare/consumable parts are expensive including Toyota, Honda, Nissan..etc, not necessarily Kia. If u able to find cheap spare/consumable parts for those cars, i bet u it was an imitation one (so many imitation parts nowadays in our market). So beware.

I dont think H or T car will have cheap spare parts. Like my honda city side mirrow, new 1 cost me rm800++, i dont think is "CHEAP"

thanks for ur feedbacks. maybe i need to do more research on pricing of the spareparts for these famous competitors and the forte as well.

Hi guys,

Concerning the warranty. I received my car last week and indeed it does come with 2+3 years warranty. 2 years by Naza Kia and 3 years by Alliance.

Waiting for the policy to reach home.

About older Fortes im not sure but I can assure you that any units delivered after 1st oct will get this 2+3 yrs warranty

The Ford Fiesta has been launched. I must say the pricing is quite competitive. 1.6L sedan with 6 speed auto and full safety specs for only RM78,888 (OTR) is quite competitive. The Forte has actually revolusionised the pricing for vehicles in Malaysia. Now Ford has dropped prices of its Fiesta to compete with the Forte. Proton Inspira has also come out with a competitive pricing. Im sure Hyundai will do the same with its upcoming Avante. All in all 2011 will be a good market for car buyers.

I have to agree on CM98 on this.
