QUOTE(FrostLance @ Aug 10 2010, 07:29 PM) ordered white forte 2.0 SX in terengganu..gonna get the BK soon..expected to get the car in november..white version so long wait.. I placed my order for a SX on 31 Jul in Penang. On 2 Aug the bank called saying my loan has been approved. I booked for a Metal Bronze. Then a week later, 8 Aug I changed my mind as I think the colour Metal Bronze was too gloomy for me. I requested for a change to white. I added I wouldn't mind a Titanium Silver too. To my surprise my very patient SA said he would see what he could do. I was told the waiting period was about two months. Today I got another call from the bank asking me when can I meet to sign the loan agreement. I asked the lady what's the rush. She told me the car has been allotted to me! So you may not have to wait that long. This post has been edited by alexendarthegreat: Aug 10 2010, 08:13 PM

QUOTE(Danny09 @ Aug 16 2010, 10:44 PM) HI all, I was trying to purchase a Forte. For some reason i think KIA has been hiring some very bad sales. I am from Penang, when i visited first showroom at Crystal pt, the sales gives me a feeling of suspicious that he tried to get us to put deposit whatever it takes. My wife do not like it so we went to the second one at Greenlane. Lagi teruk the sales fist leaves me and my wife alone under the hot sun alone to serve another guy that comes in later than us. And when i ask him why does the wheel (actually its the metal disc directly expose beneath rim, where normally break pad press on top, i'm no expert in cars dunno what that calls) appears rusty? He looks at me and say right to my face "you are not a car buyer, everyone knows rusty surface is good car". ??!! i walk away directly. In short, i like the car, but i really dislike the sales. They fail even as a simple information giver, whatmore they "suan" the customer. The Honda sales are professional, even Perodua sales are much better. I had almost the same experience. I also went to the showrooms you mentioned. The Greenlane one was the worst. He's a conman! In the end I ended up in Autocity and I booked from the guy whom I think is a little better. I think it is just our luck, we don't have good SAs here in Penang. To me Naza is out to make big bucks and that is all. It's sad they are the distributors of Forte.

QUOTE(Danny09 @ Aug 17 2010, 10:34 AM) I would go over to Autocity this weekend and have a try there. I hope they would give me some confidence in purchasiing this car. I mean, if before buying this is the treatment i get, i can only imagine what would i get after purchase. I heard there is another branch at Mecalister road too, may be pay them could be better as well? If you know of any good SA around Penang please let me know. All in all, i like the car, just not the sales. Thanks and appreciate it. I don't think there is any good SA in Penang. I didn't go to the branch in Mcalister so no comment. I did pose the same question sometime back but I got no respond so I think that speaks volumes about the SAs Naza have in Penang. After sales service.... I guess we don't have to think about that. I got the car solely because I love the car. Good luck with your search.

QUOTE(pretty88 @ Aug 24 2010, 06:48 PM) Hi all, I'm planning to buy a Forte by this month. The best offer from SA is: Free Full tinted, smart tag, full tank fuel, and lucky draw only. Does anyone here can share a bit your best offer from SA when purchase the Forte. Thanks lot... The offer you got is good. I was promised full tank and KIA emblem. On the day I collected my car it was 3/4 tank, discount voucher for tint but no emblem! According to him he couldn't afford the emblem. He said he would pay half. Seeing how pathetic he was I just said no. In my opinion Naza sales people are... I better not say.

QUOTE We're only comparing the 1.6EX and the Vios 1.5J... I think the best way to compare is to go and test drive the car for yourself. You are the one going to drive the car day in day out and you got to love the car. For me, I just love my Forte. I get excited driving it and can't stop admiring her.

I'm quite pissed off reading the argument that is going back and forth. Can we get back to discuss about Kia Forte? Earlier someone has already advised to ignore the troll. Can we just ignore it?
