He said latest interest rate for 1.6 is 4% already...
But if you got a good record (loan payment/credit card) and you are working in a good company, maybe bank can offer you a better rate....

Yaa..when i bought my Wira 1.3 Aeroback back on 2001, i got 4.9% for 9 years of loan. That's a whole lot of different if compared to 2.9% i got for the Forte now

When i seek for the lowest interest rate for car loan last time (back to November 2009), Affin & CIMB offers the best rate which are 2.8 & 2.85% (9 years) respectively. But i decided to choose Maybank instead for hassle free repayment (autodebit from my salary account) though it gives me 2.9%

Hi, I'm new to this forum. after read all the feedback, thinking to get this Forte or maybe Vois.

I used to be owned New Honda City, but was stolen on Jun 10 at Sri Hartamas (Heard few car stolen there already). This car is good be bit overprice.

Now doing survey while waiting refund from insurance company. Plan to test drive at Setapak branch there.

I read the forum and see got some problem bout this Forte, i.e : windscreen crack, dashboard drop and so on...
Can i know all this problem have solved ???
Is there any matter i need to consider b4 get this car?

I'm sure my family will said alot bad things bout this car and good bout Vois. But i go see the vois, the design did not attract me and the interior is very plastic feel, i dont like it, and City is too exp for me to get it again...

hehe.. judging by your comment bro, you should driving the 1.6? I check on the 1st post. the price difference between 1.6 and 2.0 is around RM12k right? Not much IMO, why don't just take 2.0?? It's not like civic or some other cars like Accord, the difference of their respective Cc is much much bigger.

Btw, saw on the 1st post, forte COUPE is coming out 2010?? When will that be?? Now this is grabbing my attention

posting on behalf of a friend which is planning to upgrade his almost 1 year old 1.6 forte ( end of 2009) for a 4wd cx-7 (due to sudden work requirement).
he went to a few used car evaluator and to his shock, they value his car at less than 55k!
mileage was around 3x,xxxkm. bought cash.
btw, we know korean car are notorious for it's drop in resale value but this is just too much for a newer model like the forte.
anyone can confirm the 2nd hand value of the forte?

Hermm.. Kinda high isnt it? The only dealer that dares to take in a forte right? not sure whether its 1.6sx or 2.0. But im sure the dealer took at 60K++?
