I am not really familiar with Forte...but saw a big truck in LDP today loaded with 6 brand new Forte.. hehe... gotta say they look nice... im defitely impressed by Forte's sporty look...

It looks kinda big.. does it belong to the same class as CIVIC? or the vios, city class? because its price looks like it falls in the vios, city category... but size wise, Civic.

hahaha... i think by 2011, peoples don't have a choice coz push start will be a default package replacing old traditional 'insert key' system... now new xtrail & mazda5 already equipped with push start...
*
hey does bmw 320i consider as a "push start" car? You still need to insert a key device(looks different from normal keys) before you press the Push Start button. I sat in a Nissan Latio Sports edition before and it does not require to insert any "key" at all.. that's the "push start" you guys are talking about right? without keys 1..

I think we can consider all cars equipped with push start button are "push start" cars wink.gif but some "push start" cars still need to insert the key before the car can be started by pushing the start button coz the key act as an immobilizer (need to insert the key to deactivate the immobilizer). else the car cannot be started. But for Forte, it is truly keyless entry & start  thumbup.gif

hehe thanks for the explanation... cool thumbup.gif

Bro,

Look on the bright side. With this info, all Forte owner can use this as a safety feature. What i mean is stick a sticky tape to prevent the sensor from popping. Then any thief who got hold of your smart key will still not able to start your car.

Just my 2 cents.
*
won't it be troublesome to do so? gotta take it off everytime before starting the car lo... rolleyes.gif
