Experienced or not, one needs to learn the details of product in order to make a good sales. one become an expert when he has the product knowledge on his figure tips

but they are 'save fuel' during cruise in H/W...however...from 880cc-1.5cc are best use in city....than H/W cruise

Added on October 17, 2010, 2:47 pmi m refering to full city driving....means, no cruise in H/W....
tell u all...i was shock...even i use my Forte(using BHP InfinityX2 RON95) on full city drive....can achieve around 530km....from using 49L of petrol...surprisingly...where else shell RON95 highest is 412KM
*
When using the car in city (daily commute to work), my full tank never exceed 450km. Am using BHP95 too. Not much traffic jam in the journey and the distance is about 15km one way. Guess my right foot is heavy.

Ure right. You need to pay for the additional warranty. About RM 600. But my question is this: Does it cover everything?
*
That's something must find out.

Anyway, personally, I think the EWP should covers all Forte distributed by NazaKia since its launch back in Nov 2009, and not on a selective basis (date of sale). If the FOC EWP is a YE promotion gimmick, or to counter the Inspira, then such promotion should have an expiry date - is there any?

thanks, but which part of this document mention that EWP is "N/A for previous forte for the time being. For new Forte yes included"

This EWP program has always been there, just that NazaKia has now widen its scope to incl. KIA Forte.

But the question is, what is the premium?
So, what we heard now is RM600+ for car purchased before 1 Oct 2010, and FOC for car purchased after 1 Oct 2010.

And then came the 2nd question, why is it so? is it because of a year end promotion?

If yes, there should be a timeframe for such promotion. Meaning to say, will this FOC EWP applicable for car purchased from 1 Oct 2010 to *a certain date*, or it will be part of the Forte package from 1 Oct 2010 onwards?

If it is part of the package, then here's the 3rd question - why so? What's the difference of the product (Forte) sold before 1 Oct 2010 and after 1 Oct 2010 ?

One must remember that, Extended Warranty refers to a guarantee of the reliability of a product under conditions of ordinary use.

But on the webiste, the extended warranty is shown to have a 75K mileage cap after expiry of the initial 50K mileage.
*

after a week surveying both city n forte forum...i cancelled my city booking n choose forte...the extended warranty really caught my attention.already send documents to sa n going to pay booking fee today. unfortunately no ready stock for white n titanium silver.
*
Hopefully there wont be shortage (= long wait) due to increase in demand boosted by the FOC EWP.

The application form on the website for EWP is for older model. not for forte.

For forte, yes, for car registered only after 1st of October. No news yet for cars before Oct.
*
Exactly, that's why my question earlier, i.e. where it mentioned in the doc is "N/A for previous forte for the time being. For new Forte yes included"
Thanks.

Why dont u read all the posts before commenting? In the previous post i asked why the car felt sluggish and if it was only that particular test car which was having that problem or if others have faced that problem as well. If u cant read and understand the main issue here then refrain from commenting. I have every right to ask questions and there are some ppl like Taipan and others who have provided some decent answers.
*
Forte is sluggish so most of the time preferred the tank half full

What's the point? Hurt others without any benefits to yourself. You're one selfish dude.

What's happened, has happened... Why wish others to suffer worst, just because you felt you're wronged? The others must suffer too.....

Funny mindset. If the price is the same, more buyers will buy, and you will get cheaper/lower waiting time for spare parts. Try to think about it this way...
*
Indeed a good point.
btw do you own a Forte prior to 1 Oct? just curious to know..

the problem is they unintentionally promised on the fb wall.

its different with example that you give.

they have nothing to lose what? as they can get handsome profit from service charges and parts.
*
IF they do offer free EWP to existing owners they will have to subsidy for the premiums charged by insurere dun they?
